After so many years got my 45 day letter but those sob mispelled [mistyped] my name during data entry ...... don't know what to do now except let my attorney know.

The idea of having temporary case information into the system is to allow using the FIFO principle. Unless all cases are entered into the system the FIFO queue cannot be established.

The plan is to clear backlog within 2 years - thats what they have the funding for. So, Ideally yes - they are supposed to clear the backlog by end of 2006/early 2007. But obviously looking at the progress so far it looks tooo optimistic.

Isn't it in their interest to delay it as long as they can. Then, if they have connections in federal govt (which they most likely do), they can get their contract extended. Who cares about poor suckers stuck with labor pain?

Moved to federal level Feb 2004.
45 letters March 2005.

And one more info.
We are on the 7th year of H1B.
I got my visa stamped in our country last week and had no problem.

He has copy of an air bill, that reads 12/10/2004.
Probably you may consider PD as same as received date: 12/13/2004

Case received date is the date the case received by the bec and date submitted is the date the bec people made any change in your record
