approval date NOv 26.

I called DC today. They are now processing 25th Sep cases. The lady was very nice and said we would receive our passports in a week or two.

August Visa Revalidation

Ok party people....I have received the passport stamped with everything looking good except that they have pasted the visa a bit towards left. I got my passport back exactly on the 90th day after they received it in St. Louis and that's Aug 28th.

And also, even my six years period ends by April 24 2006, they have issued the visa till July 1st 2006. Infact, that's the date I have got my H1 petition approved for the new employer. Very generous, aren't they? If anybody know if this is a problem, please post back the reply here.

Thanks to everybody who has been updating this list. I found it very helpful. I've added my info as well. I actually sent in a withdrawal request on the 21st of Nov since I didn't expect my passport back in time for me to travel to India on the 4th of Dec. They scared me by saying it's taking upto 10 business days to find visa applications. Luckily they stamped the passport with my visa before they sent it back. Good luck to the rest of you waiting.

I sent documents to St.Louis for revalidation on Aug 27th 2003. got stamped visa today i.e., Nov 29th 2003.

Spoke to State Dept this morning

Guys,

I spoke to a lady in State Dept just now to find out the status of my revalidation. She was unable to disclose the current DC receipt date of processing. Just she informed that my case will be processed this week or early next week. She also declined to say my DC date.

Have to wait and see.

I do not know for some cases , QA & printing is taking place on same day , revalidation is approved.
May be next day it happens.

I do not think it takes 1,2 weeks
I understand for ur case , they took much time

QA takes 1 to 2 weeks is a correct statement , but Not all PP's are sent for QA . If ur case is approveed and not sent for QA ,U can expect 1 to 2 days for printing and they will send it to mail room for FEDEX or UPS to pick up, Few unlucky cases can be delayed in mail room if they are not picked up DOS does not hold the resposibility after PP is sent to mail room.
