AUGUST - Visa revalidation tracking

Don't expect too much, You should expect 26th Nov by 6th Dec. not before that, hope you are keeping track of the previous threads.

I have two more friends who have sent their passports for revalidation, one had a SL date of 24th Aug and haven't received it back. I am hoping to get it back by 6th Dec.

And also Congratulations for 14th Dec. If you have tension.. tension.. tension.. say thanks to DOS for preparing you for marriage :D :D :D
 
Any Updates?

What is going on in DOS? We didnt hear from anyone if their visa is approved. last approved date is 11/19 . today is 11/26 . Exactly a week .

Any Answers?

I checked the tracking #. No movements yet!!

No, the lady said that they cannot tell what stage it is...

Nothing much you can do other than waiting.

It would have been a great help if she tells me whether its approved or not, atlest.

I spoke with someone this afternoon and they advised me that my case was approved and visa printed today. I was told to watch my tracking information. I will provide an update when I receive my PP.

August - visa revalidation -- Fedex pickup

Ok Guys! Here is the update about my visa revalidation. FedEx picked up the packet from DC today at 2.27 pm. so, here are the dates..

SL - Aug 28th
DC - Sep 24th
Left DC - Nov 26th

I might receive the package on Nov 28th since tomorrow is a holiday. Anyway, I know that papers are picked up. Now, I have to see what is in there. This is because I missed the original I-94. I might have to send it again to DC with the original I-94.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum. This forum has been very helpful in tracking the status of the revalidation.

I have sent my wife’s and my passport for revalidation. My SL Date is 28th August and DC Date is 29th September. I called the DC office day before and they said that they are processing 24th September cases. I have made a travel plan to India on 31st Dec. Do you guys think I can receive passport before that???

Also, I would like to bring another thing to your attention. One of my friends sent the passport a week after me (6th September) and he received his passport on 25th November.
Does it take more time if you are sending more than one passport? He sent his passport only..!!!!

You should get your passports end of next week or early next to next week. I don't think you will have any problem.

As far as sending one or two passports doesn't matter, it depends when your passport reached DC from SL, for some people it reaches within two weeks and for some it takes even little over than a month. Check the Sept thread and check the approval for DOLkemaaki, his passport reached to DC very fast so he got his passport back before others who sent before him.

USPS pick up schedule ?

Hello All ,
I joined this website yesterday and have found it to be very useful. I d like to add my information and request some help.

SL - Aug 22 , DC - Sep 24 , Apprd - Nov25 , Currently waiting to be printed

Question :
I have used USPS ( instead of Fedex) . Does anybody know what the pick up schdule for USPS is ? I have heard recently that USPS does not pick up daily from the Visa Office like Fed EX does. I have a ticket to India for next Friday evening ... What are my chances of making it ? I live in Richmond VA. Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Visa Approved, waiting for printing and qa from the visa office, the lady said i should be expecting anything done today but next week is when i should start tracking my fedex delivery. This forum has been very useful, thanks to all for posting there information.
