After long very long days of waiting my passport has been picked up here is my information:

SL: 6-Aug
DC: ??????
APP:11-Nov
PP: 21-Nov (not received yet)


I'll let you know tomorrow if my passport is in one piece after been stuck in the mailroom for 10 days....

Mine is not printed yet. My tickets are booked for nov 26. I will have to cancel my tickets, if they dont print and send it out by Tuesday.

How do we know whether they started printing or not? My details are as follows;

I too have travel-plans after Dec 15th.

After 111 Days of waiting, finally I received my passport today everything looks good. I want to thank everyone for all the support and help.

I used UPS Next Day and the delay no body in DOS told me why!....


p.s. One of the Ladies from DOS told me that Fedex is better than UPS in pick up service.

Sunil_green and Sesha_kiran,

You two have the closest DC dates (Sept 23/24) to the current processing times. Can you call DC and find out your current status and let us know?

From the above list , U have the Closest DC Date .just i want to know , Did u call them or not . if u call them update the status .

Does any one know the DOS mail ID

Hey guys can some one give me the DOS support mail ID, As per the lady my PP was mailed on 18 Nov and I still dd not receive it, I want to send them a mail with my information so In case if they receive it back, they can forward it to me.
 
I guess, now they have thrown my PP in a trash bin. Great Job, DOS!! Its almost going to be 12 weeks since they received my application in DC, but still no sense of responsibility. I can not imagine, how unorganized their operation could be. What they say is that they work on first-received, first processed policy, but I dont really think so. They have their own ways of (mis)handling cases.
 
suni_green, sesha_kiran, immi_tracker, can you guyz please update your status so that it would be helpful for others. you are the guyz next in queue. please find time update about the status when you talk to dc guyz... thanks for your help!

Did you get your application back , if you received it back did you get all the documents including PP, or they just asked you to mail a new photo.

Hi Guys,

This is in response to the request posted asking for the status of my visa revalidation.

I have not yet received any information from DOS. I called them on Friday and the lady said, it will be 10-12 weeks from the day they received it in DC and that date is Sep 24th. When I asked what stage it is in, she repeated the answer.

I have travel plans for Jan 23rd. Do you guys think that I will receive it atleast by Dec 20th. My concern was I have to resend the docs as I missed the Original I-94 with the documents when I have sent them to SL. Still waiting for the response from DOS. Will keep you posted once I know something.

Here is my experience

Sent docs to St Louis on Aug 26th
Reached DC Sept 28th
Withdrew application on Nov 17th
Received passport today Nov 24th.

The letter dated Nov 21 says : You have overpaid the visa processing fee and this overage may have been the result of error , a change in fees, or because the visa could not be issued. We have requested a refund of the overpayment.

It took almost 6 working days for them to process withdrawal request.Everytime I called they said it takes about 2-3 weeks to process withdrawal application.
