AUGUST - Visa revalidation tracking

Hi mjksjm,

Mine(h4) and my husband's (H1) were sent at the same time in one envelope and only one attested return envelope were sent
but today when we called for the DC office they said that mine was recieved on 29th sep and my husband's was recieved on 28th sep.
What is this?????????
I didn't understand.Now how will they send our passport when
there is only one return envelope recieved on two different dates.

What about your case?
Did your's and your wife's Recieved on the same date in DC?

Please give me reply..............

Any one please reply if Your's is the same case where h1 and h4 sent at the same time...........

Visa revalidation sent back

Guys,

I called up today to the Visa office. She said send the it is approved. But My passport sent without stamping saying photo not valid.
Q are ?
Please let me know do i have send the fee's again for the stamping. Moreover how much time it takes for the passport to come back.. this time they send me a different address but its St louis
I need a quick reply from you guys. Please .. .

pan1975, i dont think you have to pay the fees again since ur visa is approved. better take a photo and be ready. if you send DC address this time, it wont take more than 2 weeks to get back again.

check ur tracking, they will send back in ur self-addressed envelop

Photo invalid usually takes less than a week . my friend had a same problem( for him only four days) . but you have to fill the DS-156 form once again .

so prepare everything , send it through fedex overnight .

If you send the documents specified in the above page to DC you will get it corrected in 5 working days.

Hi Chaya

Actually I haven't asked them the DC dates separately for me and my wife, I just gave my PP number and they said DC date is Sep 08. I too sent the two PPs in one envelope with only one return envelope. Nothing to worry about your case, it could be because they might have entered the two PP information into their system in different dates
 
visa revalidation

I called for the visa status and she said that my visa has sent out, well it was a long wait.
DC Date 8-Sep-03
Approval 15-Nov-03

Yes you need to send your passport i.e the document substantiating the correct information.

If you send today i.e 21 st you will get it back around 10th of Dec( There are lot of holidays next week).

does any one know when they send application back for correction do they just send the D156 or the entire set of documents??

Looks like I am not going to send it for correction, I have my India ticket on Dec13. Moreover I have to send the PP and Visa information to Dubai for a visiting Visa. I have a stop over in Dubai for 3 days. I hope that nothing will happen since the mistake in the VISA is minor.

What is your opinion Leo2606 ?
 
hi msan, i think it should be fine for a mispelled/mistyped name for one letter as long as the passport no. on the visa is printed right.

Called again and the was told
"sent out this afternoon"

Others pl update the status including phone calls to help others in same boat
