COngrats!! That is quick.. Were you EB2/3?? Did you apply for everything - ead/ap/140/485 together? when was you labor applied?

Did you get an email of the approval or was it on the ins site? Also Did you do early FP?

Looks like the pilot program is still on....so please keep up your hopes. I think (of course this is just my guesswork) if the case is straighforward and the FBI checks clear fast they just approve it and don't bother about EAD/AP. My lawyer did say though that it can take upto 120 days for clearance and approval.

Its been a long journey for me and a real relief now!

Yes

Jan 2002 and it took 2.5 years to clear!

yes to both questions

Well no. i actually got 2 fp notices (if u go back on this thread you will see all my posts) - got it done on the first appt date and took the second notice to the SJ office and they said needn't be done again we have cleared it already.

Hope that answers all your questions. Good luck - slowly but surely everyone will get it.

This is good news dude. Please post whenever you get your EADs and APs in the mail.

My 485 LUD changed 10/4 ........ so if the EAD/AP applications are linked - I should hear something in the next week :)

What does this mean??

Hi gurus.. please tell me what this means.. I got a LUD message
does thie mean they received the results from FBI or just that
they received my fingerprints.

LUD 10/11 says

FP received by mail on Sep 30th

485 LUD Oct11th - FP result received

3 days and no approvals or LUDs ??!!!

I'm still awaiting my EADs/APs.

Pretty similar except FP done 10/12/04
And Had applied for EAD for both and got the EAD for both.

I don't know whether getting the EAD approved slows the process down

Wish there was a bit more transparency

I'm confused .... my RD/ND is 08/25 and 8/30 respectively - but our EADs and APs are still not approved :(

Anyone has any kind of explanation why this must be happening at USCIS ??

Have you checked the status on the website and do you know if they have approved the AP?

EAD & AP approval + EAD Question

Hi

I just got an email from USCIS that my wife's and my EADs and APs were approved on 26th Oct. :)

Now, my wife has a contract position offer from Nov 1st. Can she start working with just the EAD approval or will she have to wait until the card is recvd. in the mail ?? :confused:
