I-140/485/EAD/AP ND Don't Know (how to find this? from lawyer??)

FP Apptment 10/15/04

anjuvinu, our FP notice date's are very close. But you got an earlier appmt! Are you sure your's is tommorrow (9/9) ? and not 10/9? I am planning for an earlier FP next week.
 
Yes. Mine FP is 9/9/04. That's what i am wondering about. We have just a week diff. in receipt dates and one month diff in FP apptment times. I think FP apptmt times are not very consitent. Anyone has other ideas.
BTW, your N.D. is on the receipts u got from INS. It is called notice date on that document.

I think you got lucky to obtain on 9/9. Good for you.

Coming to N.D, I haven't received (to my mail address) the receipts. All my receipts went to my lawyer (except for FP) and he is the one who mailed me about the R.D's. He didn't mentioned N.D's to me in the e-mail.

It is a good guess that the FP dates are determined by how busy the local FP center is.

Folks,

Today we got our early FP done. I read few times that people had to return back as they were not allowed going for early FP. Looks like that would happen only where there is really lot of crowd. I read somewhere that saturday/wednesday after 3pm is the best possible time, It infact is true. I went after 3pm and we were the only ones there. They didnt even check the appointment date..Everything done in 15 mins..

Hope this helps for ppl who have not yet gone for early FP...

Got online on BCIS website to get info about EAD/AP. Finger printing went pretty smooth. The service center was not busy at all for finger printing. Was in and out in 20min may be.

Did your online status changed after your FP was done. I did FP on same date as yours but nothing changed for me. Still I-485 message says...FP notice was mailed to you...on...date etc.....

I checked online status today for the first time. Checked status on I140/I485/EAD/AP. It said that the last update was today for 485/EAD/AP and was of the approval for EAD/AP. I applied to EAD/AP for me and for my wife. They were approved together seems like. Did they do electronic finger printing for you. Mine was electronic. May be because my finger printing was done in Sacramento(less busy place)? I'm sure yours should be pretty soon to...
 
August 30 140/485 app mailed

My lawyer fedexed my and my wifes 140/485/adavce parole and ead apps on aug 30th. He wanted to make sure it reached before Sept 1 due to some change in photo thing.

Any idea how soon are you supposed to hear back from INS?
 
Looks like there are not many applications in August.. may be we will all get quick approvals ;)

How long does it take to receive the letter in the mail??
