I didnt registered on USCIS website when I got FP notice..
But my status still doesnt show anything like that. It is still saying
"your case was received on ....it akes 660 days...."

is it normal ??

Looks like everyone who applied in Aug has at the very least gotten the receipt back. I applied end of Aug and I have not recevied anything back.. Hope it made it.. I am getting a little worried.. Then again it can be my freaking looser lawyers..

Any idea who long it takes to get the receipt. My case was mailed (fedex or something) on Aug 30th. Also, is there some way to find your WAC from SSN, Name, company name, etc??
 
It takes about 2-3 weeks to get the receipts. I think the lawyers usually get it but then send it to you.....you will get it soon don't worry. WAC # should be on the receipt.

on 9/17 received one more set of finger printing notices , does anyone knows what to do with 2nd set of FP notices ? I called my lawyer she said go to San Jose ASC again and show them notices. what is meaning of 2nd set of FP notices ? it has notice date of 9/3/2004.

Here are the details related to my EB2 application with CSC
I140/485/131/765 RD: 08/20
I485 LUD: 9/11
FP ND: 9/15
FP Received in mail: 9/17
FP APPT: 10/29

Couple of questions for all you Gurus:
1. How do I know if my application is picked up in the pilot program ?
2. How can we get the finger printing done on an earlier date than appointment date ?
3. I plan to travel on business in 2nd week of October 2004. Do you guys tink that I will get my AP by then ? Is there any other work around to get AP earlier.

Your answer to above are greatly appreciated. Please keep this forum posted with the latest data.

Early FP Done!!

Just got my finger printing done early. Received the FP notice in mail for FP appt of 10/29. Went over to SJ and got my FP done for both me and my wife. Apparently they take a photo also.. The guard was saying they do not take early FPs, but, when you check with the next level up who talks to the supervisor - they let you in (assuming no big waiting line).. We went at around 2.30 or so and it was fairly quick..

Funnly enough I still do not know my ND or anything - lawyer has still not received receipt for the docs..

<<Just go there between 2-3pm and get it done. I just got mine done today and my appt was also on 10/29..

I have received another set of FP notices today with the appointment date of 09/22/2004. As per my attorney I should go along with both the FP notices on 09/22. The prior FP notice came from BCIS and this one has come from INS.

All, need some help. I have applied for my 140/1480/EAD/AP end of August - 30 Aug. I am coming up on my 8th year extension (end of Dec) - yes I have been here forever on a stupid h1..

Anyway, is there any benefit for me to apply for the 8th year h1 extension?? or should I just not do it. Keep in mind the company is paying for the extension.. I just hate to see them spend money when I am not going to use it. Also, I may be going out of the country in Oct-Nov.. for which I will probably use my EAD/AP (once I get it).. does that make any difference?? Please help

For early fingerprinting at the application support center on Charcot Ave in San Jose when (time and day) is a good time to go? People who have done this please advice....

If you are planning to use EAD/AP, no use filing for extension, as, use of EAD/AP invalidates the H1.

No receipt yet. however I got my FP notice and I did do early FP..

So when I leave the country my H1 app will be invalidated? Is there any benefit whatsoever to have the h1 application?
