Hi Folks,

Finally I received approval for my I-485 application. As I had posted on other thread, USCIS had denied my EAD and AP based on 485 approval but never sent out approval notice. After chasing them for last 2 months finally I got the notice in hand. In the mean time, the approved EAD/AP and I-485 for my spouse who was derivative in this case.

For those who are waiting, I wish you all the best. Here is my info in case you guys need it. RD for my apps in Sep but there was no thread for Sep cases and so I was following this thread all along.

EB2 with conncurrent application for 140, 485, EAD & AP for me and spouse
- RD: 09/02/04
- I-140 AD: 10/18/2004
- RFE for spouse I-485: 10/19 - need medical form again
- EAD & AP denial letters: 10/29/04 - says that my I-485 was approved on 10/18 but neither online status changed nor I got any approval
- I-485 AD for spouse: 11/18 (even after RFE they could process it faster than my app)
- I-485 notice received: 12/10

I received 2 approval notices - 1 of them says duplicate. So my guess they realized that they didn't send original and sent it along with duplicate :)

Hoping to get stamp next week.

The status changed online yesterday for I 485 without the change in the message..the LUD for I140 is the same...I am hoping I follow Desi_In_us's route and get the I 485 and I140 approved based on his post on 11/30.

LUD changed for 485 for myself and spouse

Just update:- 485 LUD changed to 1/12/05 for myself and spouse. Atleast they are touching the file. No change in message though. Still old msg that "FP results received and processing resumed".

Any thoughts ?

Do not know what INS is upto, but the LUD of my 140 and 485 changed on 12/24.. Weird that my 140 LUD changed considering that I got approval for my 140 in mail around 11/30.. also, there is no update to message in either of them online.. it does not even show online that my 140 is approved.. anyone has any ideas what may be going on.

Also, FYI I just returned from India using AP and it was smooth as it could be..

Did you get any LUD on the online status? I got one on 1/12/05 with no change in message nothing since then.

9/22: received email from USCIS
"On September 22, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

9/21: went to San jose ASC, they took FP notices (no FP again) and said no need to do the FP again.

9/17: received one more set of finger printing notices , I called my lawyer she said go to San Jose ASC again and show them notices.

August concurrent filed applicants, please update this thread.

There has been no LUD change on my online status since I recvd. my EADs/AP. Will definitely keep this forum posted.

My I-140 was applied on 08/19/2004 and I-485 was applied on 11/04/2004
, so I am not truly concurrent.

Glad to know that your I-140 has been approved. Did you get any RFE's before approval ?
Did you get your AP and EAD ?

Now, I wonder why mine didnt get touched as yet. The LUD is 11/15/2004.
I got my EAD and AP.

Just trying to understand what CSC is upto.
I shouldnt be complaining because there are many people from March and April who are still waiting.

My 485 LUD was updated not on 10/27.. but on 12/24 funny thing is that my my 140 was also updated on 12/24 - even though the 140 was approved in Nov..

By the way did you do concurent filing? and when?
 
I-140 approved on March 2, 2005

Got the email today and online status is changed too.

Current 485 processing date is August 2, 2004. Mine was filed on August 9, 2004. Hoping to get it soon :rolleyes:
 
waiting for 140 and 485 filed in Aug

Even my 140 and 485 was filed in Aug (Aug 16th), waiting for something to happen in next 2 weeks.
