August 2003 Tracker !!!

Talking of Aug 2003 filings, I checked immigrationwatch.com to see what it predicts for my case, and here are the results:

I485--Adjustment of Status (Nebraska Service Center), lin032485****

Based on the processing record of the same type of cases in this center, statistics analysis shows:
Percent of cases filed around your case's filing date which have been approved: 0.54%
On average(50-50), your case may be approved around: 10/31/06
If you are lucky(75-25), your case may be approved around: 03/31/05


Average approval prediction is for 10/31/06.....SCARY !!!!! :mad: :(
 
immigrationwatch predictions are wayyyyyy off...
I did a scan of feb 03 485's at NSC, they have approved a lot of cases for feb'03 in Jun/July 04. I think Aug 'o3 cases have only a few months to go. (concurrent)
 
Any Updates?

Any updates from any of you Aug-03 filers? I am seeing a few approvals here and there! What do you think?
 
I submitted my fingerprints in june and the message never changed from "we have received you fingerprints and procesing resumed on your case...".

Even mine is same since may 28th, 2004
I did my FP on May 17th. And since May 28th, the online message says:

On May 28, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review.

And no change since then.

Same here. No change in the online message after FP in May 2004. Same as it was in the beginning. Do you guys have numbers on the approved Aug 2003 filers if any?

The other day I was organizing my documents. I read the letter that I have received in Aug, 2004 i8n response to my change of request. It confirms my changes and also says that

“Due to the pending caseload at NSC, the processing time of you’re application/petition has been extended. Allow extra time for an Officer to review your application”

How will that affect my case? Do anyone have suggestion? Thanks.

No it never came true, yet. But then again we havn't reached both the dates (3/31/05 or 10/31/06) !! I do not expect it to be before 3/31/05, but any time befire 10/31/06 !
 
BTW here is the latest prediction from immigratiowatch, for my case:

On average(50-50), your case may be approved around: 08/13/06

If you are lucky(75-25), your case should have been approved before: 02/22/05

The thing to note here is that since the last time (Sept 2004) the % of August cases approved has gone up from 0.54% to 18.4%. I think this is significant, and should give some hope to August 2003 filers.

I am very happy to inform that per online message, case approved for both spouse and self on 3/16/05. - no RFEs.
Please give some suggestions on next steps - appointment, stamping etc.

Congrats man.

Next Step: When ever you get the approval notice, just take it to your local INS along with all your EAD's, AP's, I-94's and get the the baby stamped on your passport :)
