Sooo_tired.....

It's not too early according to the current processing method...Even most of us expecting the same kind of results after Apr 30, 2004....It would be nice if we see some approvals ...

But I am just curious to know, how did you apply second EAD 7 months before first EAD expiration ? Is that acceptable in general? Not a bad idea though !

Here are my case details:

1st FP (for both): 05/15/04

2nd EAD (Self): ND: 4/22/04 AD: ???

Thanks!

Hi,

My case details:

I-485 ND - 8/19/2003
I-140 Approved - 04/28/2004
1st FP - 05/15/2004

BTW, what do you guys make of the following paragragh on immigration-law.com

"In the Service Center processing times reports, the concurrently filed I-485 processing time coincides with the I-140 processing time. In other words, for these filers, they should keep track of I-140 processing time and not I-485 processing time in the bi-weekly official processing time reports of the Service Centers. For them, I-485 processing time is the same as I-140 processing time. "

From this it means for concurrent filers I-485 processing date should be tracked as the I-140 processing, which currently is listed as 09/2003. So this would mean that all of us Aug 2003 filers, are past the "485 processing date" and should be expecting 485 approvals any time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sertra,
Where did you read this? If only that was true!!!

Is that right?

Is that applicable to concurrently filed cases starting from May 1st 2004 or does it apply to all the concurrently filed 140 and 485's who filed way back even?

I have never seen the I140 and I485 times coincide in the processing report. Does that mean that the 485 processing times are only for those filed noconcurrently? It is slightly confusing, but very positive if it is true.

I assume that is correct. Also, we will have to wait for few 485 case approvals before we can be sure.

finger print recd update email received

Got an email from USCIS about my fingerprints being received. I completed my FP on 12th May 2004

On June 7, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Skarza,
I have no idea what name check is. I haven't called the FBI and wouldn't call them unless I was specifically asked to call them. I have seen that a lot of people on this site have called the FBI, but maybe someone told them to check with them.. I hadn't even heard about a name check. Don't worry, I am sure your case will advance soon. All the best.
