Attorney for i730?

Hello Friends!!! Can somebody explain that after case creation at NVC how long Embassy takes to schedule the interview? Does somebody recently received interview email from NVC?

Hi, it depends on your country, whenever your case forwarded to your home country us embassy where beneficiary will be interviewed you will see the case status on your uscis account appears to be ready and nvc waits until embassy schedule the interview date, be patient my friend everything will be fine, by the way which country are you located i mean where (beneficiary) and how long it took to create your case number at nvc after forwarded to department of state?

First of all, when USCIS transfer the case to NVC, final status shows "Case was sent to DOS". after that USCIS part is over/closed and nobody can see the further status of petitions. When NVC create the case and invoice number you cannot login at CEAC until your interview will be scheduled. It means there is no way to check the status when your case is pending at NVC level. My Embassy is Islamabad.

How do you know that man even gotten case number and invoice id and you can't log in to (ceac)

Hi! If you have your NVC case number then you can check it on the nvc website. But make sure it's not the USCIS number as that will not work. You do not need an invoice ID to check your case status. I hope you get your Interview letter soon!!!

I got my case number in May-2023. When I visit DOS CEAC website, I enter my case and invoice number butI can't login. It shows that "you are not eligible at this time to login". If you know some other way please let me know.

Hello friend, did you tried this before your interview date was scheduled ? I mean could you checked your status or follow your status with your case number before your interview date.

Yes I did. I got my interview letter without my Invoice ID. I even contacted my embassy about the ceac (DS260 and travel docs) and they told me it is not needed for my case. I kept checking the nvc website with just my NVC case number.

Although you didn't ask this question to me but the answer is that NVC will take about 30 day to create your case numbers. You will have to send them online inquiry to get case and invoice numbers of your petitioners. Then your interview depends upon the workload of your respective embassy. If your embassy is not busy then you will get interview soon otherwise you will have to wait and until your interview is scheduled, you cannot login to the CEAC system.
