I had birth certificates in all the applications
Mine took 4 months only.
Afghanistan citizens are given priority by USCIS in processing of their I-730 form.

Zhir, Did you receive your welcome letter from NVC and are you able to login at CEAC portal? Which Embassy will interview your family?
Just be grateful to God and be hopeful, mine took almost 4 years
Mine not approved yet. I just responded to RFE 5 days ago and no decision yet
After which step did they send your case to department of state?

I applied april 28 2022 no updates online but i have my interview this next Tuesday august the 15th
So i waited 15 months for interview letter

Yes im in the usa
I received the letter weeks ago
But my case never change not even when i did biometrics
It always says fees where waived
Wow they sent me request for initial evidence and I responded but no other update since then. Already 2 weeks. I am the applicant I applied for my husband and kids they are not here. Who is supposed to receive the letter?

The case status was that they were working on it. And it didn’t change for a while then I reached out to the congresswoman then after a month the status changed to “ we sent your case to the department of state “
But you did not see case approved. Because it’s after I reach out to the congressman that they sent the request for my asylum application. And since I sent it there is no update
Hi guys, I got an email from the consulate here in my country and they are requesting more documents (forms like 765, g325c, birth certificate etc…) but still no welcome letter from nvc or anything.
So I sent out everything they requested yesterday (even though a few of the documents I already sent to uscis with my application like my birth certificate and marriage certificate) and I’m hoping to hear back soon. I’m just a little confused everybody said there was gonna be a welcome letter (email at least) first?
