Today I checked the NVC case status and it says Ready. How long does it take to get the welcome letter from the embassy?

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Hi, Can you share that how did you expedite your request? Did you call directly to USCIS or through congressman and what question did they ask from you for request? Can you please explain in detail. Thanks

Hi there, I expedited via the uscis website. You have to do it on a desktop or computer so that you can chat to a representative through Emma. Calling didn’t work for me, I couldn’t get through to a representative. After you get to chat to a representative, he or she will ask you some questions regarding your reason to expedite. Uscis will send you an email notification that they received your request and will communicate if they need evidence, in my case they never asked for any evidence. They will approve or deny after 2 weeks or less. After approval they will send your case to nvc within 90 days from approval date, if they don’t then you can go to congressman for help . I hope it’s clear enough
 
I am aware about all this process. My only concern was that on which grounds they approved your request? if you can share in my inbox. Thanks..

Any updates dates ? Something i been waiting since april 2022 and still nothing :( no approval no interview please help me with some advice

Your case is beyond the normal processing time. You can seek Ombudsman help. He will definitely help you to get faster result. Now no more case processing in Nebraska. All cases have been transferred to Texas Center.

- 8 color photos 5*5 sm (2*2 inches)
- Passport and copy
- Birth certificates: original, copy and notarized translation
- Marriage certificate: original, copy and notarized translation
- Divorce or death certificates for previous marriages if applicable (for petitioner and beneficiary): original, copy and notarized translation
- Death Certificate, if applicable: original, copy and notarized translation
- Police Certificate (including court documents, if applicable): original, copy and notarized translation
- G325C form
- I765 form
Forms can be found at USCIS.gov. Also you will need to pass medical examinations in panel physician clinic.

So they are asking me to create an account. Should I create an account under my name or it needs to be under my wifes name?

Could you please help me? I need to create an account (Embassy asked to create an account). I'm trying to do it but I really don't know how to do it. Could you please send me step-by-step instructions? And Also did you get an official letter? Because I just got the message that my case is ready to an interview. I believe it's not welcome letter. Do I have to create an account for each of my family members? I have wife and 2 kids

What does a welcome letter look like?
I have scheduled an interview for the 11th of May. But I still didn't get our welcome letter. When I was creating an account I chose the YY (Asylee/Refugee-Follow to Join) visa type. I'm an asylee now I have doubts about my decision. There was also V92 (Asylee following to join). Should I choose that one? I'm in stress. If did mistake, what happens then?

Ben patient, all the information will be in the letter, they sent to you. Wait until you receive the letter. once you get it, then follow the instructions, how to create an account.

Thanks a lot! So what I did was I scheduled the interview by myself, then canceled it. I hope it won't affect to anything
