NC cleared my State labor and moved to Atlanta on May 6th and Atlanta clreaed my Federal Labor on Aug 7th.

Hope this helps

Congratulations H1Buser2002.

I really disappoints me when I read such messages that some whose case moved to ATL REGION in May/Jun/Jul '03 and got approved. It is not fair at all.

It took GA DOL year and a half to approve my case (state level) and forward it to ATL REGION (in March 2003). Lord only knows how long ATL REGION will take to approve my case.

On top of this you all must have read that a bill has been proposed by some crazy bonehead senator to abolish H1B visa. Our fate is really dangling, man. And I hate dangling.

Hopefully lord would put some sense into the heads of ATL REGION officers.

Anyway, congratulations to all who got their case approved both at State and Region level.

Can any one help me

Ihave some basic questions which I hope you will be able to answer:

1. What is the DOT Code (e.g. 999-419-031 )
2. How and when can I find it?
3.I tried to call and enter my employers phone number but i cannot get any response about my case at all.
AS i told you guys i got my state cleared on aug 4th, i filed on may 15th, but my lawer tells me that it will take sometime

Thanks in advance!

1. What is the DOT Code (e.g. 999-419-031 )

Every Labor certificate has assigned DOT code. Like if you in Computers field, they will assign DOT codes for Software engineer, Programmer analyst, DBA, Project Leader etc etc

2. How and when can I find it?

Once you get know your case number, then you can find it, cos it is assigned by DOL.

3.I tried to call and enter my employers phone number but i cannot get any response about my case at all.

Your attorney is correct it takes 15 to 20 days minimum to enter case into their system, once it is moved from STATE. So wait for some more time and thne check and also phone system and email system takes long time to update.

Guys,

Is there anybody with Regional DOL RD as of last week of August 2002 and waiting for approval? I think I am the only one who is still waiting for approval/decision.

whats the logic of case numbers ?

My case reached ATL DOL on Apr 2003 -- Well before the May 2003 cases that were certified ..but my case number is higher than theirs...how come ?
Strange logic...

Any New Approvals

Any New Federal approvals, who applied between May 2003 and Aug 2003.

Looks like the AVM is updated with cases certified on or before 7/31/2003. Here is an update on cases randomly checked. Seems that DOL is processing mid. Sept. cases.

I think they are processing cases of October, cause my friends case was of september 30, 2002 and was processed. I guess some certifying officers are ahead. Hope others follow too...

I don't think they follow any rule in processing the case and I also don't think they strictly work on a particular month as they post on DOL website. Following are the cases pending in Oct, which I am tracking ( All of them belong to IT 030.062.010 DOT)

CASE Number DOL Rcvd date DOT Code
0439-3624 15-OCT-02 030.062.010
0439-3650 15-OCT-02 030.062.010

0439-3295 04-OCT-02 030.062.010
0439-4238 12-NOV-02 030.062.010

Mine was reached on Dec'17.
