AVM Broken ? Does that mean the AVM is still working but the cases are not being updated in the AVM database(hopefuly)? We wouldnt know until the approvals come in by mail then (normally 3-4 weeks). Can anyone call up atlanta and find out if the AVM is broken or not being updated

How can you say that AVM is broken. It is been working sine last one week and working today also, But don't know whether AVM is being updated or not.
 
I was just guessing or hoping that its not being updated rather than cases not being certified. talking to someone at Atlanta will be helpful to find what month cases are they processing right now.
 
I called them just now. The lady told that they are currently processing Nov'2002 cases. I asked her about what date specifically. She said, she don't have that information.

Back Log processing

Hi Guys

I just spoke to one of my friend who had filed his GC/Labor from MD state. His lobor got approved and apporval letter says the name of the place where it was approved (in his case Philadalphia). One of his friend also filed from MD, so his federal labor should be approved from Philly., but thats not the case. His case is approved from Gaithersburg, MD. Seems like backlog process centeres started working on backlog cases.

Unfortunately, some of the labors were approved very fast and now no approvals from either Gaithersburg or Philly.
What we should guess and what should be our hope?

Officer name

Hi

One my friend got his labor approvals. According his experiences, He got a letter from his lawyer, when his application moved to federal and the name of the officer who will be working at Federal.
When he got his apporval, he could see the same name of an employer who worked on his case and approved

I don't see this kind of thing from Atl DOL. Are u guys are aware of this. Is there any way we can find out which officer will be working on our application. My friend also suggested me that, you can speak to the officer.

Any comments?

Any idea?

Along with my case there are 4 cases pending
at Atl DOL for NOV' 2002 from my company.

I will post once i heard anything from my company or attorney.

Approved...

There are 5 cases from my company went to ATL DOL in NOV' 2002 from SESA.

I got the cases status from AVM today afternoon...
Nov 15th - 0439 46xx - Pending
Nov 18th - 0439 46xx - Approved
Nov 19th - 0439 46xx - Approved
Nov 18th - 0439 47xx - Pending
Nov 22nd - 0439 49xx - Pending

Just now my HR manager told me that. He contacted ATl DOL.
They told him that all the Nov' 2002 cases for my company got approved.

I think AVM should get updated soon.

MystGC, I am wondering how did they start touching
dec'4 case(04394536---Remanded to Employer---on Nov-18th)

The DOT codes are all the cases is '030-162-014'.

I will keep updated once i recieve my approval.

Indian Labor Certification

Guys....

Have you guys heard about the Govt of India initiating a labor certifiation for the jobs? Since a lot of Desi's moving back they are doing this to safeguard the interest of locals. If this is true I want to apply before it is too late !!!

I will keep you guys posted as development happens.

There is SOOOO much tention in this thread and I wanted to inject some humor. Thats all. I am one of those silent watchers that some one was cursing on. I will be part of this labor pain from now.

Waiting for the last 25 months.......not delivered yet !
