Would you mind share how your attorney's reply with the NOF? I may have the same situation as you. Received NOF from DOL, my salary is below prevailing wage. If my employer is willing to match 95% of the wage, how should we reply the NOF?

Thanks a lot.

Good News and Bad News.....................

Looks like the DOL has processed upto 01 May' 2003. I called up AVM this morning and the they updated it yesterday. there have been many certifications.
They have certified some jun cases (044035xx series) also.
I don't understand what they are doing none of the cases recieved between
may 2 - may 31 have approved. I guess some lazy idiot got those cases or I don't understand how they work. bunch of idiots................

I am so freaking frustrated. It has been more than 2 years since I filed my labor.

2 case certified from my company, received DOL on 5/30/03.
case # 044027XX & 044028XX

Folks: What really happens when an application is sent to the regional office. I am looking into an opportunity where the state has already been approved and its sitting in regional for few months (maybe over 6) now. Need to get more details I know but all I know is that original LC was applied in State in Sep '02 which was approved and sent to Regional. Give past experience, what is the prob that regional gets denied when state has been approved. What does Regional approval mean? Is it a mere checklist item or another lengthy approval process.

I want to ideally get in the company when regional is also approved but there is pressure and opportunity is from a very reliable source and quite good. I would be giving up my current process (which was applied last yr (April'03 in Regular LC). Therefore this might mean I can cut abt 1 and a half in my GC proces.. Your thoughts shall be appreciated.

If you do not have 6th year completing problem and if the new employer is going to file RIR , then you can choose the new company and file in RIR.

Is AVM down?

AVM seems to be down now, keeps ringing with no reply. Anyone else having this problem?

one case certified 44034XX last week; received 5/16/2003.

Hey i know somebody had called in Atlanta office to check upon the status....i am ready to call them, but I need to know what to tell them or what do they ask for? please advice....

Tell them you are calling them on your company behalf..like HR..
If you tell them you are calling to check your status...im sure they wont give you answer...
Ask them which month & year they are processing...etc..

For chags !

chags,

As you know I also got the Remand to employer on Aug' 25th; But my Lawyer has not yet received anything from DOL.

My Lawyer is a Florida based firm, And they also got their office address chaged to new location last year; But they are saying that they notified to DOL regarding this and also there are hurricanes this time..

I don't know where it got lost; So, my question is what are my options for me if we have not received it, can DOL will send it again.

Thanks

I would prefer to call DOL and explain about your case. Generally they will ask all your details and let you know what happen. Just say you are from HR.

Actually I called DOL on 13th Sept( next business day after my RE), and the lady took all my details and said they already posted on 10th Sept which helps me to streamline my employer and Attorney.

Hope it might help...

Chags :)
