I didn't get answer to my original question anyway I think I should open another thread since my question is not really relevant to topic in this thread.

Anyway I sent my documents pretty recently I know it will take a while BUT began curios due to credit statement that I got which made think have they already posted the docs back???

are you sure the transaction was for the return receipt ??
Even for me the 'To SL' transaction got posted on my credit card bill like after 3 weeks or so.

You are right....kind of dumb of me (should have checked this in the first place)

The transaction got posted almost after 4 weeks???

...anyway it clears the mystery.

Please do post some update. I sent on 2nd April and still waiting. i have booking for 9th July to go to india. don't know what to do?

this is the 12 th week since i submitted for revalidaition

no clue what's the DC processing date

any info friends, has anybody received any P.P in April or atleast
what is the D.C processing date ????.................

where can i find telephone no for D.C Office ?

this is the number to call to DC 202-663 - 1225 with option 1 & 0.
Better call them around 8.45 or so then you will be able to connect to a representative .All the best

Talked to DC this morning, said it will take another week or two, got my tickets booked, dunno what to do next...:mad:
 
Spoke to office just now!

I just spoke to visa officer. She told me that they are working on April 12th cases and it would take 2-3 weeks for me to get passport back since my DC data is April 17th.

This is really frustrating. I have my booking to go to India on 9th July and also have booking in India too.

Probably I should cancel my reservation. Any advise guys?

So you say that they are processing right now April 12th DC recd date cases?
And your DC revd date is April 17th ?
which means yours willget processed in abt 10 days. I wouldnt cancel at this point of time, i would wait till july 3th.
 
Cancellation of tickets

As I posted, I just talked to DC this morning, she told me my receipt date is April 12, but still I was told to wait for one week minimum, and two weeks max.
That would hardly leave any time for you to withdraw the application. That itself takes about 5 days minimum.
Maybe you can talk after a week and see how it goes?
 
Called DC

Today afternoon i called DC and found that my DC date is Apr 17th. Now they are processing Apr 12 th cases, asked me wait 2 to 3 weeks.

Call 202-663-1225 option 0,1 then wait for atleast 30 min and give your last name to the visa officer that's it.
