RD: 4/02 Case assigned to officer; how much more time for adjudication?

ND: 4/19
FP: 10/30 SJ (sched 11/21, received notice 8/24)

I spoke with an IIO today afternoon. She informed case was assigned to officer on Feb. 7th. The last time i checked avm it says "received application ....takes 975+ days).

Pcee, rsgrc, pban, Jony Lever - please advise how long to expect for adjudication if everything is fine (i.e. no RFE etc..)

another CSC mailer approval

Even though my details are not on PCEE\'s spreadsheet. I have visited this site everyday and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their contributions to this list especially to PCEE for maintaining the data.

I received my approval notice in the mail yesterday. Strange thing is my AVM message still says \'On December 29th.....resumed processing\'.

My details are as follows:

PD: June, 2000
MD: April 18th, 2001
ND: June 16, 2001
AP: July 30th, 2001
EAD: Sep. 15th, 2001
FP Sch and done: Nov. 08th, 2001
AD: Feb. 8th, 2002
WAC# 01-213-*****

It takes any where between couple of days to couple of weeks. It depends on how busy, efficient that officer is. But as rsrgc wrote app. a weeks time.

Congratulations. Since we are treating entire family case as one, I just removed entry for "ammu".

My AVM hase not been updated either

Almost looks like there are cases that are just left out or forgotten by INS. I had to ask my lawyer to fax in an inquiry to get our FP notices. Last time I talked to an IIO I was told my case has not been assigned and they are now processing cases of Jan 2000(!).
 
FBI to INS fp quality question

PCee - thanks for your wishes! I wish you good luck with your AOS
approval too.

Called FBI and then INS yesterday (Mon Feb 11) to check the FP status.
FBI said they have received FP on Thu Feb 7th and sent it
to INS on Fri Feb 8th. They could not tell me the status - the
lady said that I have to check this with INS.

So I called INS - from 2:00pm to 2:30 pm was busy on 3 line phone
redialing. Finally I got through. After giving my WAC number
INS lady said that they have not received anything from FBI
and that I can call back after 2 weeks.

Any of you guys know after how long will the INS get the FBI
results ?
 
normally takes 2 weeks to update the system

I have read posts that they do receive the fp results in a day or two
but their systems are updated in two weeks from fp date

You just have to wait patiently
 
I am on the same boat....

I spoke to IIO today. She informed me that my case has been assigned to officer. She did not tell me how much time it is going to take to decide upon the case. She said it depends on case to case basis.
 
But one thing is clear, INS is working on Apr RD cases, and we can expect results this month.
My AVM has Dec 29 message.

RD : 4/30
ND : 6/28
FP : 10/30 SJ (scheduled 11/30 at SJ)

I had been trying to call INS since last 4 working days, only today I could get through.

I AVM is message literally same as yours because
I have same ND as yours.

Where did you do FP ?
I called IIO they don\'t any information on my FP.
IIO suggested me to send fax inquiry to INS every 20 days.
Did you call INS ?

I have the same rd and nd and wac, and I remember your fp is a week before me. I got the approval letter the past Sat. I\'m sure you\'ll get yours real soon.

Yes, I too remember that your FP was about a week after me.
I am expecting desicion my case in a week or two.

aran - AVM says case is approved on Feb 11

Checked the AVM yesterday night. AVM says case is approved for self and family on 02/11.

Here are my case details:
EB2/RIR
PD: 08/00
485 RD:04/02
ND:04/19
FP:10/30 SJ
AVM: Never changed from "Received your 485 application....." until yesterday
Had called IIO last friday - she had informed case was assigned to officer on 7th Feb.
AD: 02/11 - waiting for approval notice for confirmation

RFE ordered for my case

AVM changed for me today to RFE ordered. Earlier it was "On Dec 29... resumed" message.
My company changed name after my Labor cert., so it may be RFE for company name change, or it could be for pay stubs etc.

How much time does it take to receive RFE ? I suppose lawyer should receive it in a week or so.

ND : 6/30
FP : 10/30 at SJ (scheduled on 11/30 at SJ)

another april RD approved

My attoney got the approval notice on Feb 11th so the approval date should be Feb 9th.
The interesting thing is that I went back to China for vacation on Feb 9th and I kept checking AVM every night until Feb 8th and no updated until then.
I guess I will still have to use AP when I get back to the States. Anyone has similar experinece?
