APRIL 2001 thread for I-485 Mailers to CSC (from 12/27/2001)

Approval based on PD

It looks like, after FP reports received and resumed, the application assignment to an officer is based on PD . Not RD or ND.

Is that trure ?
 
My AVM message changed

From "Dec 6th.. pending review" to "Jan 11th.... resumed". Looks like INS is moving:)

  Ours is NIW case with RD:sep17th, ND:Sep27th and FP done on Dec21st. Anybody who knows about NIW approvals can u please post the details, so that we will know what is going on with these type of cases. Thanku in advance.

any idea how much more time will it take??
 
Anyone still have the original message "Application was received on ..., it is taking 999 days.

Does any one still have the original AVM message?

Wondaring as to the status of my case.
Message just says the same "Application was received on..., it is taking 999 days to process..."

My details are as follows:
EB3 (India)
PD: dec.97
RD: April 4 2001
ND: 20 April 2001
WAC: 01-163****
Finger print : Aug 17th 2001 (on schedule)
FInger print location: San Diego CA

-Raj (listed as bluelotus)
 
Finally my I-485 got approved

PD: SEP 2000, EB2, RIR, India, presently at Santa Clara
RD: 4/26
ND: 6/26
FP: scheduled 11/29, actual 11/28
AD: 1/14/2002
my wife and son\'s case are also approved today. The AVM which was "On Dec 29th" has changed to, "This case has been approved on Jan 14, and an approval notice has been mailed"
This forum had been very very helpful during tough times. I am sure lot of us April mailers should see their approvals shortly. I will wait for the approval notice to arrive.

Question on 485 case transfer to local office

I have seen couple of dicussion about 485 case transfer to local INS office.

Why they transfer case ?
Do they doin random ? or due to some specifice reason ?
What is the meaning of interview for AOS approval ?
Again interview assignment is random or any specific reason ?
