Finally, it is my turn. :)

My wife and I just got approved on 8/25/2004. Online message changed to approved when I checked 20 mins ago. My case is ac21.

my lawyer received RFE for the following, I haven't see the documents yet.
1. EVL
2. W2 for 02 and 03
3. legal status from 1996-1999 (my lawyer submitted my H1b copies with I485 from 1999 to present)

I just sent my lawyer what he asked :
1. EVL
2. W2 for 02 and 03
3. I20 from 1996-1999
4. company's financial
5. original transcript

another waiting started.....
 
I have received a RFE on June 7th 2004. Replied by my lawyer on August 20, 2004 (based on the Postal Confirmation).

Waiting for Approval.

My lawyer has received only one RFE for all of us (myself, mywife and my two daughters), Is that OK?

For guys who have not received the approval, whats the plan of action? Are you guys planning to send in the fax inquiry? I am in the same boat, my reply to RFE was received by INS on 8/17; havn't heard back since.

My RFE was received by INS on 8/17. I think I'm gonna wait another week
till I send the fax enquiry.
 
MY RFE was received by INS on July 28 and i also sent 4 faxes on aug 22nd and 23rd but have'nt heard anything yet.

Does any body know what I have to reply as the reason why I m not working with the petitioner, because I changed my employer after 2 yrs of filing 485 and currently not
working with my original petitioner and i did not file the AC 21.??

Your attorney or you should prepare a letter saying that you qualilfy for AC21 portability and that your current job duties are the same. Pls search the forum for "sample ac21 letter".

I got an RFE and we replied.USCIS recd it on Jul15'04
My 2nd fp was done on Aug5'04 they recd it on aug 13'04.

Today I called the IIO and she told me that we need to call after oct 13.60 days after fp if we do not hear from them.
Im hoping that my case is not stuck in name check.As I believe after fp they do a name check.Most of the cases I have heard have got an approval within 8-10 days after fp.
 
Got FP2 Notice

I got an RFE for Birth Certificate. The name did not match the name on my passport.

I sent them the reply and the received date is Aug 3rd. The LUD is Aug 5th. I got the second FP notice by mail yesterday. It was issued on Aug 23rd.

The status online has not changed.
 
Hi ALL,

Does this message on online status mean the case is approved?

"On August 28, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued."

Annup, not to dampen your spirits but that message does not necessarily mean approval. There are quite a few responses on that same exact message you've mentioned where people discussed that the document (RFE, a resent FP notice, or something else) could be the cause and not an actual approval. Having said that, I wish it to be an approval for you. Good luck.
