Anybody left without 140 approval from Oct'03?

hi guys...No news from my side also..However i havent made any status enquires..and i received my FP notice..FP is scheduled for 27th OCt...My Second was also approved..however the Post office returned it back to INS..even though my wife's EAD was delivered..so hopefully after my FP expeting some movement,,i have already changed jobs...so keeping my fingers crossed.

I-140 pending since Oct 2003

My I-140 is pending in the Outstanding Professor/Researcher category since Oct 2003 (I-485 pending since Dec 2003). I got an FP notice for Nov 2004. I think it's going to be a long wait.

I concurrently filed another I-140 in Aug 2004 in the Advanced Degree/Exceptional Ability category, since that queue seemed to be moving faster. But my original labor cert was lost, and only a copy was sent in. The DoL refused to give us another original, saying that USCIS will have to contact them when they require the original. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is this going to be a major problem? Any ideas how much delay this could introduce?

the thing that worries me is you finished your fingerprinting along ago and still havent had any progress. :( my finger printing is tomorrow..i was hopefully that will lead to something... you must be approaching concurrent approval shortly...hagin there...

Still pending. FP is done last week. Hope it will trigger the concurrent adjustment. Daydreaming!

For me, my online mesg did not change after FP (done on 9/25), so that worries me a bit and not having hope of getting the concurrent approval.
I just need 140 approval for now because its a labor substitution case.

My 2nd EAD also approved on Oct'15th and that DID NOT TRIGGER 140 approval. Isn't it bad? waiting for 2nd AP though. :mad:

In my wife's case, the online messeage changed a week after her finger print is done (something like " finger print was received on xxx"). And I just did mine last Sat., and I'll let you know how long it takes to see the online message change.

hi oct guys,

Finally on election day and 5 days after my 1st fingerpriniting I finally got the dreaded RFE ...It was mailed out today so waiting to get it..mostly has to be ability to pay,, i have jumped company..In such a scenario can i show my current company pay stubs??
any advice on 140 RFE and no longer with the GC sponsoring company is appreciated..

My prev employer had agreed to support me..however my question is now do i have to disclose i am no longer with him?? if i need to provide latest paystubs can i give my new employer's pay stubs...inshort will i need to file AC-21? or if its abilty to pay can we just submit the required docs like tax retutns, company finanicals ets,.. I had not submitted 2003 tax returns i am guessing it may be for that...

After 3 inquiries, my lawyer was able to talk to an officer finally. The officer did an internal status inquiry for me and gave a fax number to my lawyer, asking him to fax my case information to the service center. The officer also explained my I-140 and I-485 might be approved at the same time. I hope this will be the case! Will keep you updated.

I-140/I-485 ND: 9/18/2003
2nd EAD and AP approved in August 2004
1st FP done on 10/23/2004

same thing happened to me too. After 3rd inquiry, officer gave us the VSC fax no. But my attorney said we'll wait for one more month and then make another status inquiry.

Truly i don't believe its going to work. I don't know why VSC drops just few cases like ours????

Why didn't your lawyer send the fax? Even though I am not how effective this will be, it won't do anything bad to your case.

hi..my 485 LUD changed again today and got an email informing me that the fingerprinit was recivied..SO if i can successfully handle the rfe on my 140 ,..should be seeing the end of the road...

Do you mind to share the FAX number with me or this board. This will certainly help us a lot, as my case is also pending for a while.

My lawyer didn't tell me the fax number becuase he's going to fax information. But I got a number from my friend (not sure if it is the same as the one my lawyer got): 802-527-4816. My friend told me to use "Expedite request" as the title. But the fax has to be from your employer, unless you want to claim you are an atterny on behalf of your employer (this is why I didn't try myself). If this fax works for you, please share your experience. Good luck.
