VSC processing times changed today to 16FEB06 on I-485. (From 15AUG05).
I took INFOPASS today in BOS and officer told me only that my case is in VSC wating for visa number. I said to him that it couldn`t be possible, `cause my case is current with PD: 26APR01 ww. Asked about the new LUD now on 11NOV06, he said:"the only thing I can tell u is that ur pending at VSC". I turned my back around. Very sad. At least, he didn`t mentioned about Names Checks.

I made an inquiry with vermont officer on 10/31/2006 and she told me that she will pull our files and check that why We never rec'd the finger print notice...since we applied in Apr 2004. We rec'd a letter on 11/5/2006 stated that it will take 60 days...

No wonder VSC moved processing date from AUG05 to FEB06. They`re transfering cases that are stucked in the NC to another Service Centers. A friend of mine went yesterday with me in BOS Office and was told that her case is stucked with FBI NC. Today I saw new LUD in her case with this new message:
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: This case has been sent to our local office for processing.
On November 21, 2006, we transferred this case to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location for additional processing. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case has been sent to our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
Her FP1 was taken in 20OCT04, here in BOS and the case was transfered back to VSC in 06DEC05. No interviews.
This act over her case means that VSC is reducing the backlog transfering cases that are stucked somewhere.

Today I`ve got the answer. A letter from USCIS, saying that I`m stucked in security checks. As soon they get the results, they`ll take action over my case. It`s almost 4 years now, in a cave with dusts.jhawilla said:

Just to share mine...
I've received exactly the same letter today as well. I made an inquiry back in October and they said I need to wait for 45 days until I can make another inquiry. 45 days passed with no reply. Made another inquiry around Dec. 11th. Then, the letter saying it's pending due to "security checks".
I have no knowledge whether my name check is completed or not.
Did you, jhawilla, have your NC completed?
Can anyone shed a light on what "security check" means?

I received letter from USCIS that my case is waiting for visa. Because they are watching the visa bulletin very seriously I shouldn't bother them and call them again. Any way the letter was issued on 12/15/06, I guess that was before the visa bulletin.
Any how I am tired of it according to Jan 07 bulletin I am current now and I already made an info pass for 01/02/2007. Lets see what else they can tell me?
Jhawilla- When we make an info pass appointment what option should I pick. Is wants to speak to the Officer is fine. Please advise!

We rec'd the FP notice on 12/22/2006 stated that we had a FP schedule for 01/02/2007. We went there yesterday the thing I wouldn't understatnd that they gave me code 1(10 fingers) and my spouse code 2(Index finger, picture and sign)...
I called my lawyer he stated that probably they have my spouse info. But isn't it that we need 10 code 1 for GC.
Question: My spouse just got the EAD renewed in Oct 06, probably thats why they ask for code 2. I an so confused plz share your experiance with me.
I just checked my spouse got an new LUD today 01/03/2007 but no msg change.
Plz comment...

Do you have any idea why we got the different fp code's? I am trying to find out the answer by reading previous posts but so far couldn't find any thing yet...
I don't think so because we are due for medical too. I submit mine with the 485 application in april 2004, but never submitted for my spouse.jhawilla said:

Since they need valid FPcode3 to approve GC, they maybe reviewing yrs FP and verifying some inconcludent date. Don`t worry about new checks. This FP are going straight to VSC in one or two days. I asked b4 about yr "security checks" `cause, I think, they may have the results in hands. What`s yr guess?
