Filed AP on December 03, 2003. It transfered to local office on June 18th, 2004, and today it transfered back to TSC

RFE and Information

Hi,
I received an RFE for immunizations, EVL, and immigration status from Jan 1992 to Dec 1993. Do I have to mail them only the documents relevant to those dates (extensions, approvals, passport page stampings) or do I have to send them all the documents and all my passport pages regardless of date? I would really appreciate any help from all you experts. Thanks :)

i would say send only docs relevant to those dates + all passport (non-blank)pages.

Congratulations !! I just wanted some information from You. When your RFE was acknowledged what did they say on estimated time for adjudication. For me, I just responded to my RFE and they said they have recvd it and it might take maximum of 660 days. I would appreciate if you can let me know what did they say for you.

where the RFE will be sent

I just learned from online information that a RFE been sent on Sep. 20 for I-485 application. Do they send RFE to both attorney and myself or just to the attorney?
Is there anyway I could request the RFE sending to me directly? Please let me know your suggestions. Thank you.

My Case is Approved (Aged case ofcourse)

Hi Guys,

I know my case will not count for any statistics.. as it is isolated.
But, still may help people who are waiting for long..

I got my approval letters in mail last monday 09/13/04 and got it stamped on last wednesday 09/15/04.. Online message not update as of today.. 09/22/04.

Details of my case:

RD: 08/03/01, ND: 09/07/01.
FP1: 12/21/02,
1st RFE: 02/12/04 (wrong RFE), Responded to that same day..
2nd RFE: 03/10/04 asked for legal entry and continued status until oct'01.
RFE received 03/22/04 (to my lawyer), Responded to that 03/25/04 updated on the net on 03/26/04.
FP2: 07/09/04, Final Approval on 08/25/04 (Online not updated)..
Recvd Approval letters on 09/13/04, Stamped on 09/15/04.

Summary: GC process stated in Sep 1999. I-140 took 11 months, I485 took 37+ months.. Got 3 Advance payroles, 4 EADS. 2 FP's, 1 RFE.
Number of calls to BCIS: Unknown may be more than 40 times in last 5 years for different reasons. (like 140 delayed beyond time.. First FP delayed beyond time, AP delayed beyond time, 485 delayed beyond time, RFE's Delayed and not responded to that on time.. etc.. ).

Changed jobs but not informed INS and changed addresss and informed INS.

Got email reply from FBI

after sending fax inquiry. If you sent back RFE response without approval in a couple of months, most likely you are stuck at FBI for name checking. Search "FBI name check" on this forum, you will find a lot of information, especially helpful is the one posted by Rahul Kumar.

I just checked my status on INS website and got the above message.
I was laid off by my previous employer in NC after I140 was approved and I485 submitted date is over 180 days. I found a job in TX. I sent a change address form to INS, but did not inform INS that I changed my Job.
My questions are:
1)RFE will direct mail to me or old Lawyer?

2)I called the old Lawyer and asked they forward the RFE to me, the lawyer said they could not release any file including my RFE to me without my previous employer permission. Any idea?

3)Should I hire another lawyer or continue to hire my old Lawyer if I could got my RFE either directly from INS or from my previous employer?

4)Is there any problem that I just informed INS my address change , but not job change?
