Continuing with the trend, here's the tracker for 2005 cases! There are some stats at the bottom that needs to be tweaked, but that can be done at a later point, not that critical. Update the tracker responsibly. As we get into maintaining the tracker for next year, hopefully someone steps up to keep the tracker in shape and form!

Once people start using the 2005 tracker, let me know if I can help to fix up the stats etc.

Notice Date took 15 days from RD!!

Hello gurus,

For the record = My application was received by BCIS in late Dec. in VT.

Now, please help me with two questions:
1) Is approval date officially called the "notice date" ?
2) This company filed it in EB3 category. But I qualify for EB2 also, I have almost 9 years of work ex, with fortune 500 companies, and can prove it !!! Is there a way to change my category later ?

Good to see 2005 cases coming in!

Notice Date is the date the labor was received by local SESA. About the EB category, it depends on the job requirements if the job states that it needs Masters degree then you may qualify. Just so you know, USCIS is strict about scrutinizing EB2 cases than EB3 cases, you can search the forum for RFEs/denials for EB2 (check dazzing's case). If you file EB2, the dates retrogression won't affect you. So consult a good lawyer and let him handle it.
 
Tracker information

Hi joyd:
If you could update the tracker with my information I would appreciate it.

I am doing separate filing (140 followed by CP per lawyer's recommendation)
EB2
140 RD: 01/03/05
140 ND: 01/05/05

For some reason they have left the Priority Date field blank in the notice. Do you know any reason why that would be? I understand the PD is the date the labor is received at SESA.

Hello all.

I received an RFE on my 140 (EB2 ND 8/18/2004).
The RFE was for
- My Tax returns
- Copies of Degree Certificates
- Refernce letters from past employers.
I ahd submitted all of that right at the begining but I guess they wanted it again. Anyways, My LUD changed to "Received your reply to the RFE on 12/20/2004".
Any ideas how long on an average it takes them to take a decision on the case after receiving a reply to the RFE??

Pls start updating the exlel tracker, it's not very difficult. Also it would be wise if one of you steps up and maintains it. It's your tracker, treat it right.

I notice some of you with 2004 Receipt/Notice Dates are updating the tracker, or posting here, if your RD/ND is 2004, you should be posting in the 2004 tracker thread and not this one, this one is for 2005 RD/NDs only.

Since the receipt date is Dec 30th 2004 and notice date is Jan 18 2005,
whats the priority date for me, is it dec or Jan 2005. Please advice.

Any info on 2005 cases will be of real help. I don't see much activity on 2005 tracker forum, please update your info and share your ideas/thoughts re:140/485/EAD/AP.

Also do help me if possible in understanding few acronyms like LUD and PD.
