2005 Consolidated Tracker (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

new to thread - have question

hi all,
my labor very recently got approved after waiting 5 years, and i am now working on my 140 and 485 apps.
was wondering if you could please advise me where it is best to take the immigration pictures? someone told me walgreens, but i can't find any in maryland. i tried kinkos and wallmart, but they had no idea.
sorry if i am posting this in the wrong thread, i hope you can point to me to right thread if that's the case.
thanks in advance!!

Foret1,

You can try nearby post offices as well. They actually take photos for Passports. That is good for GC as well. But privately owned photo locations will give you very good deal on the price.

dont bother going here and there for taking immigration picture....just take my advice, it'll cost you 34 cents if you have digital camera. I did this for our 140/485/AP pictures, canadian immigration picture, for my mother and daughter's US passports. No one denied the pictures yet. Follow their picture direction, take few shots from 5-6 feet distance in your digital camer. Then go to Wallmart or CVS. Use the the photo id features from the self printing machine.

good to know that they were accepted. AAA+ is free

I tried doing that but couldn't get good pictures and didn't want to take chance of delay due to pics, sure none wants that for a few $$.
So I went to AAA and they said if you upgrade to AAA plus it would be free. did the upgrade right there which turned out much cheaper for all my family photos got free..

That's so cool! :)

Would you please provide a little bit more information? Like what kind of LC you have, which state are you in, what kind of job you have, etc.

It's my own LC and the priority date is April 2003. Hope to meet the cut-off date (EB3 from China) next month.

EB1 OR I-140/i-485/EAD: Rd 08/22/05 , Nd 08/25/05

It is a I 140 application,not concurent with RD 08/22/05 and LUD already changed to 08/25 /05.
Does that mean they are ALREADY processing my application,or just that the case was entered into the system?
Thanks

Receipt Number/ Applying 485

Guys, I have 2 questions....

1. How many days does it normally take to get the receipt number once the
140 papers are sent to the Vermont centre. and
2. I am in eb3 category and priority date is March 2002. we applied for the
I140 last month. Can i apply for the I485 in october after visa numbers are available or should i wait until my 140 is approved ??

Thanks

Usually,it takes 2-3weeks. You don't have to wait for 140 approval in October 1st. Once it is available and not impact due to retroget cut off date, you can able to file it. It looks like your PD is old enough . My guess for cut off date is June 2002 for EB3s. Check for visa bulletin this week.
