Thx GCVaruma and GCLAbour2001. Now i m in waiting que of 485 with PD 05/2002 EB3 :)

so now i can vanish from this forum for 2 to 3 years unless new bills gives visa # to USICS :)

how long to wait for I485 receipt notice

Hi, folks,

I have filed for I485 almost 3 weeks and still have not received I485 notice. I140 notice was received in less than 10 days. Is this normal?

I140/485 no response

Hello all,

I have filled my 140 and 485 on jully 2005. Still i didnt get any update on my case. No LUD on both 140 and 485.

Anything I can do?

Approved Finally

Dear Friends,

It has been a long journey that finally ended yesterday for GC :) . I got my EB1EA approved with 485 approval recently. See my signature. I have had applied for my labor in EB 3 in Oct 2002 and it went to backlog converted into perm which ironically got denied yesterday as well. But EB1EA is what have done for me (non-retro country for EB1). So thanks for all the support and help that I got form this group all along. I will stick around if someone needs any help of if there is any information I can provide.

There are some more applicants like you, who are not getting any update from USCIS. Few are from July'05 and many from Sept-05, I have seen pending, in forums. As such I do not think you can do anything except to wait and see. But if your case is 30 days outside the processing time, initially for I-140, your attorney or company can call USCIS and request a reminder.

Did you get the physical Green Card by mail ?
Or do you need to go to local office stamping and then they will mail to you in future ?
Please share with us if you do not have problem.

Changing jobs without I140 Approval?

Here are my details

I140/485 RD 06/30/2005 ND 07/18/2005

Now I want to take perm position at client site. Is it possible with out I140 APPROVAL.

Nope My Atteorney said no need for the stamp. We recieved the cards today.
