Go ahead and apply 140 and 485 concurrently ASAP. You can still do that by Dec end. Even if you have to take a day or 2 off for doing medicals etc., just do it. I will suggest you send the Fedex by Dec 27 or 28 the latest. In my opinion, the receipt date by USCIS counts, but you never know, so hurry up and send it soon.

LUD Changes on 485

guys
LUD on my and spouse 485 application changed twice (12/10, 12/13).

my LUD on 140 did not change though.

sachin tendulkar
did LUD change on your 140 before being approved.

B.T.W. my Labour priority date is june/2001. filed from NY

Can anyone throw some light here as to why there was a LUD updates on 485 and not on 140

Same case with me.LUD changed on 12/14 and 12/15 for only 485 but not for 140.Finger print reports recieved on 12/10 .That day there was message change.Again these LUD s occurred. Unable to guess

I am in the same situation as you are. I don't think you can file two 485s.
By law, there is nothing preventing you from doing that; by practice, no lawyers recommend filing two and INS doesn't expect that either because of two reasons:
1. it can increase the backlog of processing cases
2. it could confuse INS and slow down the process of your case if you file twice and have two A numbers for the same person.

My 140 was approved and 485 is pending in EB3; my wife's NIW 140 is pending too. I am concerned with the Priority Date retrogression that will happpen next year so that I am thinking to somehow associate my wife's pending 140 with our pending 485 with my 140 approval. What I am going to do is to send INS a letter to inquire her 140 case and notify our pending 485s.
I hope this would bring to their attention so that they can approve her 140 and our 485 all togather.

I don't know if this would work. I don't know what else I can do either.

I can not belive, one of my friend's 140 got cleared.
His details are ..

Labor :ND: Nov 2001, AP:Sep,2004
140 :ND :Nov 5,2004, AP:Dec13

Don't know what is going on !!! :(

My labor PD is 12/04/2001 and EB2
140 and 485 ND is 03/05/2004
FP done -12/01/2004
FP results recieved-12/10/2004

atleast with this...i can expect 140 approval/RFE etc.

did you do get your FP done?

LUD changed on 11/22/2004 and then on 11/23/2004. These changes were after my FP, which was done on 11/13/2004 in the Boston office.

Any comments, why VSC started of approving NOV 04 EB2 140 but not Apr or so !

LUD changes

Hi Folks,

My EAD LUD is changing since last 3 days. 12/13, 12/14 and 12/15 but the message is same that ..the application was received etc.....
I did not receive any emails.
What might be going on, any ideas?

Does anyone have an idea about these Lud changes?
When is name check done? after finger printing results or is it part of the exercise?

Did any one applied for AP by self ?

Hi

My H1B is going to expire in April 05. My EAD and 140 approved in August 04. At that time I did not applied for my AP. Now my employer not intrested to pay for my AP processing. If I file my AP thru my attorney it costing me alot.
Did any one applied for AP by self and got approved ?
If yes want documents I need to send ?. When I have to apply ?.
Any suggesions ?
