HI, Lc_virginia:

does the online status change too?

No, it does not.

However, from what I've read on these forums, the online status does change when the FP results have been received by USCIS.

140/485 denied

In my last message I said there is an RFE, but I learnt later that 140/485 applications are denied because ability to pay issue. I've no idea why RFE was not generated and it is denied. I've 30 days to appeal. Does anyone know, what are the chances for 140 getting approved after appeal? Please advise.

LUD changed on 10/08. Still no change in status message. My employer received an RFE today regarding ability to pay. My RD is 3/26/04 and it is EB3.

I've masters(12+6 year) and I'm eligible for filing the same in EB2 category too. Is it ok to reply to RFE and also file another 140 & 485 using the same labor in EB2 category? Please advise.

Concurrent Filing in OCT 04

My employer told me that the applications for 140 / 485 /EAD/AP will be reaching the vermont processing center today. It is a substitute LC. What is the best gestimate for EAD and 140 now a days . I don't see any body who filed this month.

(Following may not be completely true, you should still check with your lawyer) -

- You just need to carry 1 copy
- I recently visited Canada on AP, and I was carrying AP (one copy), I-140 and I-485 receipt notices, and my EAD card with me.

ST.
From what I understand, 3 copies exist so that you can make atleast 3 entries to the US in case the officer at the port of entry takes away the original AP document.

I-140 Approved

Friends,
My I-140 got approved on 10/19.
As indicated in my signature below, my FP is also done.

The biggest relief is that - Now I have control on my destiny, NOT MY EMPLOYER. Thanks a lot every member of this forum, specially LC_Virginia, Unitednations, Jharkhandi and many more, who helped knowingly or unknowingly to many of us specially during difficult times.

Good luck to all, and meet you in 485 Forum.

Is it EB2 or EB3? Not that it would make a difference these days! Check the tracker, I applied recently in EB3 and I got my EAD and AP approved in couple of weeks..
About 140 - you never know how long they take but seeing what's going on now a days, it would take any where from 2-4 months. Good luck!

It depends on...

It depends on your application type. If you are EB3 you have a good chance to get your I-140 in 30 days or even less. If you are EB2 welcome to the club. They almost stopped processing EB2 cases since November, 20, 2003, but still they are choosing EB2 applicants randomly and approve them. Nobody knows... Have fun!

My I140 got approved.

Concurrent filing.
ND - Aug 17th 2004
EAD AD- Sep 22nd 2004
AP AD - Sep 22nd 2004
I140 AD - Oct 19th 2004.

I think I was lucky in getting I140 approved so soon as I see the processing date shown in USCIS website is jun 2004.

Is there anyone in this forum who has used AC21 and taken control of their destiny.
Please respond and share your experience, that would really encourage others to take the step.

Seeing a lot of I140 approvals lately. VALC's I140 got approved in 40 days ... that is amazing. Makes me wonder what the guys at VSC are smokin. I track EAC04266XXXXX and there are 125 I140 applications. 21 have already been approved and 4 RFE's were sent out.

Does anyone know the reason for so many approvals lately?
