tagoregc, what is the validity period on your EAD? Is it for 2 years?
 
Just now I got mail that AP for my wife and kids have been approved on 6/3. Their status date is also changed to 6/4, however my AP's status was touched on 5/25 but no change in the message and of course no approval.
LC_Virginia, how do you track this kind of situation, do you put AP approved, or wait for my approval? Please update tracker if you decide. In any case I'll post when I get approval on my AP.

validity is 1year 5/27/04 to 5/26/05.
is there 2 years validity? :confused:
did u r I140 also approved?

According to the new EAD rule that came into effect recently they will issue for 2 years. I have read somewhere in the Forum.
My I-140 is not approved yet. I read the Tracker and your 140 is approved in 2 months. EB2 is really fast.

we have to apply or they automatically approve for 2 years?
actually i got for 1 year.
by the next week u will receive u r AP also bcaz mine was approved today. :)

I think they automatically issue for 2 years. Even in the present scenario we don't apply for 1 year but they approve for 1 year. We just mention Travel date in the application,right?

USCIS has just announced that effective 06/01/2004, they issue new EAD card, I-766 with the security features. It states that the EAD card is issued for a one-year validity but in some cases it will issue longer validity card.

EB3 I-140 Processing Times.

Hi,
I fall under EB3 category (concurrent processing). My I-140 Receipt Date is Feb 27, 2004. How long is it taking for I-140 approvals?

Got my EAD approved on May 28th, 2004:)

I see all EB2 cases getting approved for I-140 in 3 months. What about we guys?

Can I change my job if my I-140 does not comes through and 6 months have passed since I filed for I-485?

Congrats!!
EB3 I-140 may take 6-7 months. I-140 has to be approved and 6 months passed from your I-485 receipt date to be eligible for AC-21.
 
Hi

My wife's EAD approved today. Today there is lot action from USCIS, . I saw bunch of I-140 approvals on 2003 tracker, APs and EAD approvals.

Here are the details

I-140/I-485/I-765/I-131 RD: 02/05/04
My EAD AD:04/27/04, My AP AD:05/02/04
My Wife's EAD AD:06/04/04 (YES 38 days after my approval)
Still waiting for Wife's AP approval

Did you file in EB2 or EB3 ? I assume you did a concurrent filing and the Receipt Date is the same (March 13, 2004) for all your applications ?
