I dont think ur application goes into retrogession.. It holds good irrespective of your i140 approval...

Just a LUD change.

No Email, No message Change .. only LUD change in the portfolio.

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status:

On May 13, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new
card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

This means they maild the cards to me right ?

Yes... it means that they have mailed the card to you...
I have a few questions though:
-- Did you do a paper or e-filing?
-- What was the notice date for you EAD application?

If you dont get Advance Parole before you leave and your 485 gets approved while you are outside the country, your 485 is considered abandoned, even though you will be allowed inside on H1.
 
Does this mean Cards Ordered or mailed..i mean the msg looks like saying cards ordered to get physically printed and when ready then they will be mailed..
just being curious after this msg how long does it take to get the cards

After getting the same message for my EAD, I got the card in abt 4-5 days...

I am not sure about the way of filing. My Company's Attorney did that. Its receipt date is Nov 10th 2004. With in three months I haven't got the approval. I went and took the Intrim-EAD. Almost after six months I got this mail.

After six months they approved the EAD. Still haven't got the card. Right now I had the intrim-EAD card only.

Hi Senthil,

Like you said earlier - May 17th has passed, but no RFE yet...in the meantime my wife made address change on her 485 - but no LUD for that yet :confused:
Does this mean I am in the clear or more trouble or cannot tell!

If Attorney filed, then it is probably not efiled. If you did not take pictures at USCIS center, then it is not efiled.

You should get the card in ur mail. There is no seperate status change like card ordered for EAD. You will not get the card in 2/3 days, it will take a week or more. Hopefully you havent changed ur address and if you have, u need to notify USCIS abt your address change. Good luck

Looking at your signature, I am wondering why you 485 is not processed yet.

Did you call the USCIS office?
 
In case of finger printing they sent a notice to me(at old address) and to my attorney. Then my attorney called me and sent the FP notice to me.

Usually EAD should come to you. Not to the attorney. I think if you don't get within the specified time. We should contact them.
