I called USCIS customer service today. It was the first time I called this number since I usually checked my status online. I did not speak to any representatives and only heard some automated messages.
One message is interesting: "to be fair to all customers, we process cases in the order based on when they filed."
If you look at our tracker, can you still say that are processing cases based on the received date?

Did anyone mailed their 140/485/AP/EAD applications on or after 12/23/2004?
My applications were delivered on 12/27/2004 and no receipt yet. Application fee is also not cleared from the bank yet.

This is true for most of the cases. Because it is difficult to keep track of applications based on priority dates. The same thing is also clearly mentioned in the USCIS web site

Even though if PD is importnat listen people don't worry too much about PD retrogattion because
I read on murthy site that two years back all the unused visa quota was used for India, China and Phil to remove backlogs; the same action might be taken this time again so that USCIS is not overloaded with backlog again

I still believe people like bocondo, afrqn, kskrajendra who applied for their I140 in 2003 and filed for their I485 in 2004 should post/track their info in either 2003 I-140 tracker or 2003 I-485 tracker. This tracker is sorted by I-140 ND and making few exceptions to make entries by I485 ND will create a mess. Please provide comments/suggestions senior members....
