2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

Help needed

Guys,

My ND for I-140/485 is Sep22,03. But so far there is no change in the status. I didnt receive any RFE or FP. Is there anybody with same status or I am the only one. :confused:

Any information reg this is most welcomed...

A few people on the tracker i.e. jhakas, labor052001 and abhi_c have got the i-485 approval on the same day of fingerprinting! Is this accurate?

Usually this is because their FP date was never updated and, when their I-485 was approved, I set the FP date to the I-485 date so the stats make more sense. See also the comment at the top of the tracker for that column. I did the same thing with the I-140 (for cases where the I-140 and I-485 really were adjucated concurrently there should be a comment in the Comment column).

If people have their real FP / I-140 dates they could update them but my guess is that some of these people won't be back on this thread...

Hello,

I am in the same boat with the only difference that I got FP notice last month. My receipt date for concurrent filing is in Aug 2003. So far, no update on I-140 status on web site. Status for 485 did change last week though after CIS got the FP results back. Do not know if they would approve both at the same time or they have not even looked into I-140 so far. Can someone comment on such cases please????

Hi Guys,
Its my turn now. I-485 is approved for both myself and my spouse on Nov 5th.I came to know through online status change.I am yet to receive noices in the mail.

Do I need to take seperate appointments for myself and my spouse or single apt through infopass?

It was a pleasant surprise when I received the emails abt our approvals. Hang in there guys.You are not far off from the day.

Our case has been approved. Received 4 emails (2 each) today at around 7PM. No LUD for me since FP was received and NO LUD change for spouse EVER!

Hi Everyone

I got good news while I am checking mail at 10.PM today; I saw some waiting and surprise email... Guess ….. it is from USCIS... My approval mail, I checked website, it shows approved. It is very great news for me. Hope every one will get Good news soon

But I didn’t get approval for my wife, her case was filed on Sep 15 2003, we are waiting for her approval

This is very good site for GC information. It boost my GC hopes seeing information shared by other friends

How early I have to apply for 2nd EAD before it expires

My EAD is expiring on 01/14/2005. I want to Know how early should I apply for the 2nd EAD, and also how long it is taking for the EAD to get approved? I appreciate your responses.

Hey knpguy2004.

I saw these approvals yesterday and none of these cases are currently in the tracker.

I've mainly only been updating cases which are already in the tracker because a) this doesn't take too long and b) I don't think we need more cases at this point -- we have plenty of cases to give everyone a good picture of where things stand.

If you (or someone else) wants to add new entries you are of course free to do so (make sure you don't mess the tracker up -- see my earlier post on how to add entries and things to avoid doing :)).

Updating the tracker now. Your case pushed the average EB3 approval time down significantly so we EB3 people now have several days less on our estimated wait :D.

Had RFEs on labor,I140 and First EAD, but no RFE for I485, Thank god

I'd do it asap myself just to be sure (assuming that you need the EAD to work).

In theory, per the last update, the VSC is processing EADs received as of 11/01/04 so it could take as little as 2 weeks to get the new one, but I'd be skeptical about that.

485 Pending RFE Rcvd. 9th Nov

My online status says that on Nov 9, INS has asked for more evidence or information. I can't think of any reason for an RFE other than I moved to a new address some time back. I have updated USCIS and have proof for that.

Can anyone tell me what could be this RFE and becuase of this how much would this delay my case? I mean assuming that I get the notice on time and reply on time, in how much time should I expect the approval.
