2003 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

I cann't believe this..

On March 26, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Folks:

Found some inconsistencies inthe tracker. (Duplicates, old names that posted that they were approved, but the tracker didn't).

YOU SEEM TO HAVE DELETED COLUMNS FROM THE TRACKER, ALL THE EAD, FP, 140, 485 DATES ARE GONE!!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! PLEASE DISREGARD THIS EXCEL SHEET!!!

Also if there are dups, it could be that person has filed two applications or something, so let them individually delete the record, instead of taking chances....

I don't think its much "safer" to use one over the other. I'd personally stick with the H (as I'm doing currently) just because its more convenient. With EAD you currently have to renew this every 10 months or so to allow for processing times and apply for AP if you want to travel (there's some talk of increasing the EAD duration up to 2 years but this hasn't happened yet). Not sure if it costs money to extend the H but the EAD / AP each have fees which must be paid each time afaik.

Afaik, as long as your I-140/I-485 is pending you can extend the H visa indefinitely? I'm not sure what happens if the I-140/I-485 is denied -- i.e. are your EAD / H immediately invalid?

Thanks ETA, your comments are helpful. I do believe H1 extensions have it's costs. After the 6 years I guess it doesn't matter, because if the 140/485 gets rejected, you will have to leave anyway. Hopefully none of us has to go through that.

I didn't mean to be rude. Seeing the tracker sheet totally messed up shot my BP :) I appreciate your efforts to keep it up to date, if you can get the latest tracker (without hidden columns) uploaded that will be great.

Ppl, please use the latest tracker when you update it, otherwise we will be missing data.

I found a large number of EB3 candidate info that was not up to date for I-140 approval. Hope this helps.

My EAD has been approved on 03/26/2004. I updated the excel and uploaded here.

My online status showing the following message. It looks confusing. Any guys has any comments about this online msg.


"On March 26, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

What the?

Anyone know why this and some other threads (but not all) are suddenly "flipped" for me. The first page is now showing the most recent posts (at the top of the page) and the last page is showing the earlier posts (with the earliest one at the bottom of the page).

I'm guessing there's an option to control this somewhere but I haven't found it yet.

Any ideas?

I guess now the most recent post will be shown on top so we don't have to scroll all the way to the last page. This will take some getting used to, but will work out I think....This is as a result of the poll that Admin conducted...

Looks like its back to the way it was. Much better this way IMO -- I just periodically bookmark the last page in the thread so I can jump to this. Having to read from the bottom of the page up and from later pages to earlier pages is pretty counterintuitive IMHO.

If you select "Show Printable Version" at the bottom of the page you can then ask for all pages to be included.

This is the same message that I saw when my EAD was approved. It means that you should get the plastic EAD card (with your picture etc. on it) pretty soon. Mine arrived in 6 days. At the same time your lawyer will be sent a notice that the EAD went through.
