Hi guys i have a question..

I have got my EAD/AP last month..and my 6 months after applying the
485 is going to be completed with this month end..( i got my 140 approved 2 months ago..)

as i am with out a job for the last two months..and now i have my ead..
1) can i join another company..
2) do i need to any kind of documentation from the company i am still with.
3) what kind of documentaion i need from the company i join..
4) now i am hearing about the Memo which is to eradicate the EAD and ac21 law..can i use the AC21 to change company
5) should i wait atleast one more month to join any other company ( may be >200 days)..

please help me with your expertise..as i am kind'a broke of not having job for a while...

You can change jobs based on Act21, pls search the forum for Act21. Also pls update the tracker. Check the dedicated thread for imp faqs.

I-140 Approved

Hi All,

I should share this news with you all .......Today my I140 was approved. I just got an email and checked it on the USCIS website

I140 - ND 09/02/2003 (Concurent)
AD 05/10/2004.
NO FP yet.

I have not got the approval notice yet. But it seems a big relief.... Hope you all guys get it soon too..... Take care and good luck you all. I move on to the next step.

There are about 19 records at the end of the tracker (in blue) that does not have the EB category in them, I had originally put them at the end so people can update that and put it back to where it belongs, if nobody updates them in the next few days, I will mark them as EB3 and move it among the EB3 rows.

It looks like we're starting to see some I-140 approvals again, even for concurrent cases.

After these slowed down over the last week or so it seemed like something was up at the VSC but now it almost seems like we're back to the way things were before the Ohata memo.

I'm personally getting pretty anxious as the VSC seems to be getting closer to my own ND (10/23/03 -- maybe 1-3 months away). As I've said elsewhere, I'd just as soon get the I-140 so I can use AC21 if necessary rather than wait for what is an unknown amount of time currently to get the I-140 / I-485 at the same time (assuming these are approved)...

ETA: I tried checking 10 times a day with my attorney but he threatened to beat me up with my own phone. I'm sticking to the website now.
