From the few messages that I read today ..looks like USCIS is not effeciently updating its online system. I think we should call our lawyer up and check if our 140 is approved. Guys after us are getting approved.
will give you an update after talking to my lawyer tomorrow.

Nope .. just called the lawyer..hoping that they might have received my 140 approval but they havnt yet ..
So now the tough part is ..we cant trust the online status system..and we cant call our lawyers office everyday to check if they received something.

My I 140 got approved. My details are as follows.

EB3 RIR

Labour - VA
Work - NJ

Concurrent I 140/ I 485

MD - Aug 15th '03
RD - Aug 16th '03
ND - Aug 28th '03

EAD - Nov 06th '03
AP - Nov 05th '03
140 - May 07th '04

FP - ???
485 - ???

RFE - none

No update on the status page yet but the Last Update date was changed.
The lawyer has received the approval notice.

I have a naive question if anyone can share their thoughts I would appreciate it.

My husband is filing his 140 very soon. With Both our I 485s allied with my GC processing still pending with USCIS can he file duplicate I 485s with his GC processing??

Congrats!! :)

Your husband cannot file I-485. But it is a good option to file his I-140 as a back-up.

You can go consular processing route using his I-140 and withdraw both your I-485 applications, if you decide to go for CP after few months and your husband's I-140 gets cleared.

I have got my EAD approved as per online message. Here is what it says :

On May 13, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready

Can somebody inform me that how long it takes for the EAD card to arrive.

And also jharkhandi or joyd or anybody ,,,,can you update my details in 2003 tracker.

I scanned from 51500 till 51700
total 15 cases/4 approved/1 RFE/10 untouched

looks like, mirium99, desigc2003,yourself and myself are all in the waiting list.

Again, online status is not up-to-date, so this may not be accurate.

hey nvc,

this time i will try to check with my lawyer if they happen to receive the approval notice of my i140..... too bad that you just heard with negative response from your lawyer about that,,, well, there's really something wrong going on with our batch ( august ), i'm thinking now that theyhappen put aside somewhere in a box our files/application and forgotten, hehehehehe..

i will let you know, okay?

I have scanned 20752000 to 54200. Total 67, 33 approved, 24 received, 2 RFE received from 11/12 and 8 RFE sent.

What sucks is that I know my RD, but not my receipt number. But so far it seems that < 50% of cases with that RD are approved. And still the approvals from later days go on their merry way... :D

Just an off topic subject. Will the Indians be allowed easier Permanent residency in Italy now that we have an Italian born PM? Or will the national dish change to "Pasta", "Pizza"?
