Or can someone redirect me to any other forum/thread which has RFE and approval tracking?
I suppose we could have added columns for tracking RFE's but I'm not sure how useful this would be, especially at this point. The current approach of simply flagging the I-140 / I-485 column or adding a comment does at least let people see if a case has an RFE...
The main goal for the tracker (IMO) is to give people an idea of when their case might be approved. The main way in which this is achieved is by letting people see which cases the VSC is working on. e.g. by looking at recent approval dates or by looking at the table that I added last week. The average time that it is taking to approve cases is also somewhat useful, although there are many ways in which that can be inaccurate.
It's not obvious to me that an RFE necessarily slows a case down. In many cases, RFEs are issued relatively early on and, in some cases, an RFE can actually speed a case up if the VSC approves the case when the RFE response is received. So, even if we had all this RFE data in it's own column, I'm not sure how we could put it to use...
And, this is a somewhat moot point anyway, because from what I can tell, the majority of the cases in the tracker don't have any active RFE currently and I also suspect that most people don't post their RFE info -- it's hard enough to get I-485 approval information .
