I didn't do the medical when I sent my I-485. I sent medical with RFI on Oct. 10th, 2005.

I got the same message I just check the usps website and got the same massage. I send it by express mail yesterday.

Hi guys, Finally, I recieved the supposely unrestricted SSN, but on the card it stated 'VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION'. Could anyone tell me is this the right one i should get? Thanks

Yes, i mean when you apply the visa, most the embassy asked for six month valid RTD. sorry for the confusion.

did anyone has the exprience about how long it takes after you submit the additional documentation for your RTD application? Some contries ask 6 months valid for your RTD, does that mean you have to renew your RTD every six months? Any idears? please help

I just got the notice requesting my original RTD. I applied on 8/19/04.

I applied my RTD on Aug 19 and just got a email from INS requiring additional document. Although I do not recieve the letter, I assume they need my original RTD since it expired on Jan, 2005.

Is that true you need the tax record when you travel with RTD everytime?

I know Sigapore do not need visa if you use RTD and Thailand need Visa. You may check their embassy's website.
