I would suggest that you sent another fax to FBI, highlighting your plight and long delay. It might just work. By the way, is your finger printing over? Usually FP call comes after name check. All de best!

I have seen more cases where after approval the case status has gone back to not approved. But never heard of a case where they put approved when it is not really approved. Good luck!

Friends, When you efile for EAD, fingerprinting is done at the ASC. Is this fingerprinting considered same as the fingerprinting you do for a I 485 case. In other words, say if my EAD fingerprinting is done, would USCIS use it for their FP check, or would they need a regular FP process all...
