Comparing FP for EAD (efilers) and 485

Friends,
When you efile for EAD, fingerprinting is done at the ASC. Is this fingerprinting considered same as the fingerprinting you do for a I 485 case.

In other words, say if my EAD fingerprinting is done, would USCIS use it for their FP check, or would they need a regular FP process all over again? While I received my FP notice, my friend who filed on the same date as me has never received a FP notice. But he had a FP done when he did e-filing this Jan. Just makes me wonder!

Ead FP and I-485 FP are defferent.

I was given FP for both I-485 and EAD sameday and sametime.

Thank you kamvp. Did you do two set of FPs that day, or was one set enough. Isnt EAD FP different from 495 FP ( 485 has all finghers while EAD has only the 2 thumbs)?
