Nanshi/S Hari, Does it take that looong to decide the case after submitting RFE reply at NSC. 10 months seems abnormally long..dont folks get approval within a week after replying to their RFE's. SHari, Did you hear anything from NSC. Keep us posted.

Actually I read a statement from Sheela Murthy that most often the cases of RFE which are very delayed are often incomplete and may result in denial. However, I was not sure what was the time frame she had in mind when she said long time

for many people approvals come within a week of INS receiving the RFE in their system. Not sure if they are taking a lot of time means that the reply is not complete and hence they will deny it

Hi Novice 72, what was your RFE about. Can u give the details. Did you try calling up NSC or writing a letter to the director of NSC. What was the reason for your friends denial?

Ideally it is good to have to be receiving the amount certified in the labour cert from the day your labor petition reached INS. However, I have seen cases getting approved even if they did not get a good salary if the current situation of the company is such that they can pay you the salary...

Naanshi and others..Where on the application is it written whether your application was filed under EB2 or EB3. Let me know.

Any body here has any experience putting in part time work experience letters to INS as part of 5 years of minimum work experience required for the job. I have received an RFE on 140 and they are asking me to provide 5 years work exp..cause that is mentioned in labor..now i had just 4 years work...
