Hi all, I ask a question for my friend.

His job require B.S in Computer Sci, but he has a B.S in physics minor in Computer Sci, and has a M.S in Computer Sci. Is there any problem?

Thanks!

His LC require B.S in Computer Sci. Company don't want to put M.S in the LC. Please help.

If the education requirements states BS in Computer Science or related field and the related field is defined as Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical, etc on the LC, it should not cause any problems, I think.

I have received an RFE to show 5 years of progressive work experience..wondering if it is ok to have 4 years plus part time work experience

I think it all depends on the education requirements stipulated on his LC.

Do it (education) required to be explicitly mentioned on recruitment ad?

NIWdoor, I am not sure if the education (major field of study) has to be mentioned in the ad. In my case, we had an attachment to the LC stating that we would accept education from the following fields, computer science, physics, mechanical engineering, mathematics. The DOL did endorse this attachment while approving my LC back in 2003.
