The reply is absolutely right. You have got to file 485 (and AP/EAD) as soon as possible without any delay. Once your H1 gets cancelled, you become out of status and you cannot file 485 after that unless you file for change of status. Probably you should send your 485 by priority mail or something.

BCIS district office You can go to the BCIS district office in San Antonio. They have a separate office in the BCIS office where you can have your photographs taken. They give you 4 photographs for $11.00. The guy who does this is pretty expert and knows how to do it.
