Hi guys, this is my first time here, hopefully I can get some help.

I recently applied for EB-1 (EA) as a musician at Nebraska Center. I've heared that Nebraska is the most difficult one, I just want to know how much chance I get with this qulification:

1. 1st-prize winner of 4 international music competitions
2. more than 20 reports on me winning competitions in newspapers and music magizines.
3. three one-page long articles about my background, achivements and inspriations in major music magizines.
4. will judge a high school music competition.
5. released a CD and have more than 20 concert engagements in the States this year
6. 7 recommendations letters from professor and concert artists.
7. have been composing music for my instrument, some of them are going to be performed in my concerts.

I have been reading a lot information about I-140, and I did not see anything that is about musician, any of you have any idea on how much chance do I get?

thank you very much

NSC is tough at NIW but not quite sure about
EB1 ... you may get approval without RFE.

All these are fine and you may be able to prove "musician with talented or even extraordinary ability", but the key phrases are "sustained national and international acclaim" and being "one of the small percentage of people at the very top of your field". Have you earn big bucks? Top musicians do. What you consider international music competitions may not be viewed as being truly international by USCIS. Are the newspapers "national media with broad circulations?" Local or regional newspapers do not count. Judging a high school music competition is not the same as "judging professional musicians. " The Appeals cases considered by AAO appear more stringent on artsists and musicians than on scientists. I raised these issues so that you can better articulate your case.

Alternatively, if you have lots of money (by virtue of being a musician), investor immigrant visa might be a better deal if you can invest $0.5-1.0 milllion.
