Friend's April 03 case has been approved last week...
he went to Hartford for stamping but was told that he needs to take a appointment for 485 stamping..Also an appointmnet is required for
each member of the family...
So if you going to Hartford make sure you have a appointment....
would suggest that parents alone (without your brother..) try again....the can use the documents they already have...
If they are both above 60, they can use the drop box...
Good Luck!!

I had the same experience...my case was approved but my spouse's case was not approved at the same time..her case was approved a month after my case....
I had initiated a status inquiry regarding her case a couple of weeks after mine was approved....not sure if the status inquiry...
had the same experience...spouse was approved 1 month after my approval...I have initiated a status enquiry regarding her case a couple of weeks after my case was approved.....
As per online case status.. Spouse's case (JAN2002 ND) approved today....exactly 1 month after the my case was approved.... initiated a status inquiry a couple of weeks ago.. ( two of them one by me , one by lawyer)..guess the status inquiry helped....
or maybe not!!!!!!
In our case we did all FPs ( 3 in total) together..
also filed EAD and APs together..
The suprising thing is we got FP notices, EAD and AP docs at the same time...
