One way of solving this problem without showing any relationship between Comapny A and Company B is by saying that the job offered is with Company A. And the GC is sponsered by A. Its a Future Employment GC. Talk to the lawyer and find out if he can do it.

Thats true. But what do those supporting documents say ? That "A" has a similer job with "Y" and company "Y" is willing to provide the job after the GC is approved. That makes company "Y" the current sponsor isn't it?

You cannot file I-1485 but with labor substitution you can file I-140 for Consular processing. I suggest you look in consular processing forum for more info.

You cannot file I-485 alone as far as I know by an employer. Your case may be one of these scenario's 1. We can ignore your status with company X. With the case of company Y. you have substitute labor and the are going to file I140 and I485 together. 2. You have started your Green Card...

You might get an email only when there is a status chage. If there is no status chage even if the LUD chages you may not get an email. Good Luck.
