Nemesis,
I don't think that the interview officer referred to by letter has any correlation with an actual person now, at least temporarily. I got officer "C" but was interviewed by someone else, at least as far as my lawyer and his friend said. They couldn't recognize any of the officers...
Did our FP twice. First time was in April 2003, second was in Aug 2004.
I had been to the Philly office in Feb 2005 for my EAD and at that time the officer told me that everything had cleared and they were just waiting for my wife's file to come from VSC. My wife's file got transferred in...
Got it!
My case was transferred to Philly in Oct 04. Wife's transfer did not take place until March 17th. Got a Interview Notice late April for a June 7th interview. Application was for a "future employer" who started the process in 2001. Was pretty apprehensive about the interview, so I...
Don't know anything about their cases other than their RD and approval. I threw the info out to see if I could elicit more info out of them or their buddies.

Users Viko and English Jon have reported approvals for RD Feb-2003. And one other, gsriniva (RD Feb-2003) reported an approval on 7/1/2004. Do I see a ray of hope? Or is that creaking I hear that of the door being shut?

Lud 6/28/2004
Same here. I noticed that my LUD changed on 6/28/2004. Everyday since, I've kept checking the status a few hours apart in the hope that something good will happen. Nothing yet.
I did not post anything about it because I didn't want to jinx it. Not that there was any hope...
Well, it aint the big one, but this will suffice for now. I thought that I had to go on unpaid leave, as the one that I have expires Feb-25. Whaddya know, it got approved today. Hope I don't have to apply for the 3rd one.
With the way things get lost in mail, at the ATTY's office and a myriad other ways, I wouldn't give up checking the online status, even though it ends up a disappointment.
Think of it this way: what if there is an RFE issued and it sits somewhere with no response? I wouldn't risk it...
My point exactly. Although not even remotely scientific, I was tracking Rupnet as well as other sites such as Murthy. Whenever Rupnet reported an out of turn approval, i.e. later than stated for that Service Center, the District Offices reflected the same timing as the approval date.
What...
Attorney Sheela Murthy's website reported a Sep-05-2002 approval as early as December 27th. That would make this the second fluke assuing that they are different.
Also, the district offices for Vermont and Philadelphia report dates of June and October respectively. Not sure what to read...
Morning, Noon and Night. Can even miss the morning coffee but not this. And not only the INS web-site, but this one, and a couple of other ones to see the rate (or lack thereof) of any progress.
All this, and my date is not even close: Jan (or is it Feb) 2003.
Geez, if I had your Notice...
Stay away from DELL
I work at a university that has HAD (Past Tense) an almost exclusive relationship with DELL. For the last couple of years, we have had a spate of hardware failures. Granted that they are covered by the warranty, but the sheer frequency with which they fail, kinda flusters...
To all you phonies/hypocrites/... who applauded India's decision:
Would you have approved American inaction in (Milosevic's) Yugoslavia?
Does your conscience condone what the Iraqi tyrant did to his own people (and the Kuwaitis, Kurds, etc.)?
Would you have the stomach to continue bearing...
