My opinion
The only thing which can put REAL life in this forum are APPROVALS.
Its nice to keep this forum clean , it also prevents the useless arguments in which members indulge, which leads to slight bitterness at times ( like we had about : Shantanu, N.Indians & S.Indians, abuses etc.. )...
They will send you FP once some officer picks up your case. You don't need to do anything except .. Wait ...n' .. Wait
If your ND is within the JIT ( I485 : 11/16/2001) from past 30 days, only then one might call them up .. but I guess even that hardly helps.

Your FP has expired as of today ( March 2002 : 15 months timelimit over ) .. If I correctly recall somewhere in the forum, someone had mentioned that finger prints should be valid when the case is approved.
So if that is the logic then you may recieve a 2nd FP...
