I think you should pro-actively talk to your lawyer. Also, you should go to the INS office (nearest) and talk about it. This is a correctable mistake. But, you should be pro-active so that you can do fingerprining at the specified date.

Bhai, According to what I have heard, one must have continuous employment(though different employers) till getting the permanant residency. That means you should find job before replying to RFE.:eek:

You can not take your spouce with you for finger pringing. Your spouce can complete finger printing with you only if she has "INS issued" notice requesting her to visit an INS center at specified date and time for fingerprinting. Hope this helps.:eek:

Qmwei, second finger printing doesnot necessarily mean there is something wrong with you. This is not "one more thing" to worry about. Many people whose first finger pringing some how could not be electronically stored, are requested for second finger printing.:)
