Name needs a correction in Fingerprint notice

My name is spelled wrong in my fingerprint notice. How should I get it corrected?
 
I think you should pro-actively talk to your lawyer. Also, you should go to the INS office (nearest) and talk about it. This is a correctable mistake. But, you should be pro-active so that you can do fingerprining at the specified date.
 
Name mis spelled on FP - help please

I have the same situation of misspelled name on my FP notice. Could you please let me know how you handled the situation. What is the advice that you got from your lawyer? Have you done with your FP ?

Found answer to my question of wrong name on FP notice

Hi every body,
I thought it will be helpful to some body if they run into the same situation of wrong name on FP notice. When I called my lawyer she said that she will call the INS with the correct name and will ask INS to change it in the computer for 485 application. That should take care of everything. She already did so.
